Midyear Mayhem - No News Article yet?

I am seeing people stating a startdate on 22nd, which would be this next coming Saturday. Which makes no sense in relation to normal patch / update days.

Also, i have not seen ANY official news article, with more information or promotion?

All i know is, that it was on PTS some time ago, which i unfortunately missed.

Anyone have some specific information here?

There was a leaked Xbox achievement stating the dates, 7/22-7/31 I believe. That's all that's out there really.

Its a PVP event of course they wouldn't promote it.

I would love to know the dates - I run a cross faction trading/social guild, but we like to try to help members get achievements - a PvP event is going to be challenging for us to organize help and a bit of notice so we can get our **** together would be lovely.

Any word on if they will remove the timed holiday achievement from behind a paywall that requires you to purchase the fake expansion bugged content DLC just to complete all the holiday achievements?

Yes they could change things but once again, some information provided is better than literally nothing.
