We just need the developers to allow the use of a solid group dps addon tracker. I want to know where I am at in comparison to my group. Why this is not allowed is really beyond me and hurting this great game. Oh, I know, its the tree huger mentality.

    There is an addon that lets you know how much of the groups total damage you are doing. You just can't see what the other people are doing individually.

    It shows your own DPS too as well as your percentage of the total DPS.

    This feature used to be allowed but people viewed it as "an invasion of privacy" and other ***.

    Closest you have is Combat metrics tells you what percentage of the entire group's dps you are doing (which is basically an answer to 4 man teams but not for 12 man teams).

    Wonder if it was the DD I had in nIcP earlier today, as healer I don't want 50% dps.
    Made worse in that the tank was awesome and probably did decent dps.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    It shows total group DPS and how much % DPS you do in the group

    So if you're in a 4 man dungeon you should be around 45% as a DPS
    If in a trial around 12-13%

    Doing more means you are above the group average

    If you want to know every people DPS there is an option in FTC that can allow DPS sharing. All the people with this option activated, will be able to see each others DPS (provided they have fought the same fight duration, which can be impacted by char death if their addon settings timer is not properly set but this is details)

    I'm pretty sure cya allows ppl to automatically share there dps with with ftc if the other person has ftc as well

    The add on does exist to see individual DPS but I do not use it and I'm not willing to share where to acquire it. You'll just have to your own searching but combat metrics and FTC are the other popular choices for PC.

    It's called Combat Metrics ;P Total group dps, your own dps and your own dps in % of the group's dps. Also has a tab for healing and very detailed damage report and buff/debuff uptimes etc.

    There are addons that allow to post your damage or healing stats to chat. Some people automatically post those after every boss fights especially inside guild. No need to see other people damage etc without asking. You want to know, you ask.

    Any dmg-meter shows total dmg done.
    Devide bosses health by number of dds. if your dmg done is smaller, u got carried.

    Nah, I run with groups that compete for top spots and they don't ask. They don't have to because players looking to finish at the top all communicate well without being asked.

    You don't really need an addon to tell you:
    • If DPS is solid. You can tell that by the time it takes to take down any boss.
    • Who does more DPS. It's a group effort, not a SOLO. Go to Maelstrom if you wanna see how good you are.
    • If a DD is bad. It's not just the damage but how you move and use your skill. You can do 25K damage but if you keep diyng each time the boss does AoE that's good for nothing. A dead DD does less damage than a newbie DD.

    Not going to happen. A while back a guy figured out a way to create a group dps add-on and ZOS nerfed it in response to complaints from the casual community.

    Most of proper end game groups post DPS parses without even asking. The ones that don't and have carebear attitude towards casuals in the game don't belong in those groups.
    I play how I want to.
