You can't play Morrowind on ESO Launcher if you bought it on Steam.

One of my friends gifted me Morrowind through Steam. I played it a couple weeks.
Some bug happened at my steam and ESO deleted on steam.
It didn't actually deleted. I have game files but steam doesn't see them and wants me to download it again.
So i started to play ESO with ESO Launcher since i still have the game files.
But now i can't play morrowind and ZOS wants me to download the game again or buy Morrowind again.
I sent a ticket and wanted ZOS to fix that.
And this time they told me my GPU is not enough to play ESO and thats the problem.
Can you believe this?

Lirkin✭✭✭✭That is correct you can't us the regular client if you bought it through Steam since you will not be able to login to the account since they don't give you the login that works with the regular client login.0

This is correct in that you will not be able to login to the game itself. You will still be able to login to your account through the ESO website however.
This change in being able to use the ESO launcher and not the Steam launcher took place shortly before the free ESO weekend in November of 2016. Players who purchased ESO through Steam prior to that timeframe can still use the ESO launcher. One thing of note though is that those playing this way have seen that their ESO+ membership is not being applied as that is part of the ESO/Steam system.
I spent a little over a month going back and forth between Steam and Zenimax after I was unable to play when Steam crashed late last year. All I wanted to do was have the option of being able to play if this were to occur again and the end result is that the ESO launcher will never be an option for some Steam users.
