Is that as good as anything a nightblade maxed out can pull? because anyone can watch a YouTube video and set up build appropriately.
People will say it's easy to DPS with it, but then again these people are wearing at least a 3pc set that gives you Minor Slayer which increases your damage done to Dungeon and Trial monsters by whatever percent, and you can only get those armor pieces by running Trials, which, lol, good luck. I myself have managed to land a couple Infallibe Aether rings, but no luck with a necklace.
But back to the point, I'm in your boat, I usually ever default to Healer with my MagPlar cause I don't want to take up a DPS spot that I know a MUCH better player could fill, but I think I'm getting close. Apply DoTs like Vampire's Bane and Elemental Wall, then just Jab to your heart's content with Sweeps, and make sure you have ample CP put into Thaumaturge so the damage for all that is increased. Personally I also have a 2pc Grothdarr for that extra AoE flame damage. Normal overworld mobs just MELT but Dungeon enemies are a different story.

If it was easy then id see more people with 40k magplar parses and thats not the case. Also currently the magplar BiS is 3 gold moondancer jewelry and 2 sharp swords. Not easy to obtain at all

Seems like your saying there's only like one setup for a magplar to compete with nightblade when it comes to dps and honestly, that just sounds boring.

Now this might be a different story. If you find your class 'boring' to play then yes you should jump to a new one. And as easy As a templar can heal, it does make it boring in a whole not of normal situations. Something a little more active like a nb might be for you.
But again if you are strictly changing to chase 'max' dps, in the end you will be changing again and again.
Do have that, think I got it with my preorder from game but not a fan of 1T and using races outside there alliance, have no problem at all with others doing it but as a personal preference I keep them to their own.Bonzodog01 wrote: »You could always buy the adventurer pack, and have the any race any alliance thing on. It was the very first thing I bought for ESO.
Thus why I have an Ebonheart Pact Khajiit stamblade.

Been trying to get a video on here but I'm unsure how to get it on forums
Good dps as in not bad compared to other classes in the game, don't want to got to cp 500 and then have crap damage output compared to other classes.Wolfenbelle wrote: »Define "good DPS." I've been playing a Templar main for 3+ years and still enjoy the heck out of her. She started out as an Imperial. Switched her to Redguard with the release of 1Tamriel. While leveling her back when Templars were considered the weakest class, she started out as a magicka character, then went hybrid for awhile, then finally stamina. That's where she's stayed ever since.
I've never tried tanking, but did try being a healer for a short time. Never liked it, so she's been stamina DPS all the way from v1 through v16 and now 630+ CP. I have leveled all the weapon skill trees except sword and shield. My preference is dual wield and bow, but I switched to DW and destro staff with the Morrowind changes.
I don't know how you define "good DPS," but I can solo most things in the game and do OK in most group situations. I'm not focused on being whatever "the best" is for trials, vet dungeons, PvP and the like, and have never spent my time chasing the latest FOTM gear. So what if some people don't think she's good enough in some situations. She makes me happy. That's what matters to me.
