Alliance Crafting Stations redundant since On Tamriel

When ESO first came out it made sense to have one of each crafting station in each zone and then to have the same crafting station in each alliance.

Since One Tamriel, it makes little sense to have the same crafting stations in each alliance. New sets should be introduced to each Alliance zone that would be unique to that zone. The current crafting sets will remain, but scattered throughout the alliance zones, with no redundant crafting stations.

I mean, you still have to travel to discover specific crafting stations so why not add a little variety?

actually, not the worst idea in the world, although it would entail two key problems...

1 - devs would have to invent a ton of "reasonably balanced" craftable sets - I think at least 20 or so sets, as there are typically 2-3 crafting stations in each zone - assuming you wanted to keep the same number of crafting stations per zone, of course

2 - while one tamriel does open up all the zones to all people, it would still require people to get travel assistance to the zone they want for specific crafting in most cases, meaning a lot of mildly annoying zone messages asking for ports and whatnot - people in decent sized guilds will be a little better off, but it'll still be a minor to moderate annoyance to anyone that is specifically interested in crafting rather than exploration

I'm not saying you couldn't do it - just, that you really ought to acknowledge that there will be...costs to such a system - #1 being the biggest obstacle I think

Pre one tamriel, you could get all three faction crafting regardless in bet zones. Why change?

The Mundus stones are redundant, too, so all the ones in the Pact are going to be named after Santa's reindeer now and give you various magical powers like gaming entitlement.

Meanwhile, Ayrenn had all of them removed, because she didn't like a bunch of *** shaped statues detracting from the beauty of nature. Also, because Naemon was totally a ***.
