As a Guild Master I find there is NOT ENOUGH ROOM to post all the things I need to, to be able to keep my members informed.
I run a 50/50, a Raffle, as well as other Social events, and need more characters to post all the info.
Please ZOS give us another 1000 characters

✭✭✭✭✭I think it is two different areas for information. I know I have seen tons of information on multiple guilds I am in so there is certainly not a lack of space.
The solution is probably organize it differently. And considering the thread has not gotten responses it does not seem to be a pressing issue for many guilds as many in guild leadership frequent here including a number of trade guild leaders who run raffles.0 -
xFLADNAGx✭✭✭I have reached the character limit in My MOD and have much more I wish I could add. I have done everything to compress the info I have posted. I, and I am sure other GM's need more space.
Raffle info., prizes, Tickets Sold, How to get tickets
50/50 info., Pot Size, How to get tickets
Guild Hall access instructions
Trader info., the message is always bugged

This leaves no space for the many events we want to run.
To many new members to not include the Guild Basics in the message.
I have even maxed out the "About Us" section

static_recharge✭✭✭✭I can agree here. The space needs to be doubled at least. I would also like it if the "about us" section could be minimized (click on it to expand it). I feel that the message of the day needs more screen space so it's easier to read and less scrolling is required.0 -

✭✭✭✭This is something that people who run guilds have been complaining about forever - the MOTD character limit is ridiculously small.
I didn't particularly want to run a website in addition to the guild, but I've started a Steam Group for the guild (this is on PC) and am now only giving the most brief info on MOTD with the address for the Steam Group available for people to find out more info (they don't need to join the group to be able to view discussions and event information)GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

Yeah, server resources. Double the size... It's not always that simple. Increasing character limits in the database will not only increased storage size on the server, but also the size of the responses to the client from the server. Im in trading guilds and they have all the things OP mentioned plus more on the MOTD. Your MOTD should not be the length of a Steven King novel. Update it daily and rotate what you need to say; it's a message of the day for a reason. I'd rather them spend time and resources on issues that actually affect gameplay.0
