I've been playing since pc beta, at my own pace so I don't have the champ points to show for it lol.

I play very well and never struggle in any game play here. I'm also the best person to have in any content that you're failing in.

There is no productivity in insulting nor blaming others, only in working together to find a solution.

That makes sense. they assume people playing on Console are younger and therefore less mature. what's funny about that is I know more than a few people playing on consoles that are well over 40 years old lol.

This just reminds me of this really cool time my friend Swaggasm and I (we both have Swag friends) did group finder because we like to mingle with the community (and yes, we're both extremely top tier players and have both held some awesome past records and such). Well we get this CP120 Redguard Templar healer named Tupac (not kidding!). This guy had it going on. He had baby Spell Power Cure, was using heal orbs, ele drained mobs. I mean, we had amazing resource management from him lol! His heals were also great. We took him into vWGT, cleared it on HM, everything. He was legit amazing. After all three pledges were done and completed on HM, I got a really nice whisper from him saying thanks for us giving him a chance. Like, legit, there's no reason to be awful to people with low CP who are just trying to learn the game. You can be an elite player without a demeaning manner.

@TARAFRAKA funny story I have about a pug group I ran Wayrest 1 with about a month ago. Was on my StamWard at the time leveling undaunted and getting skill points.

Anyways the group I was in had a CP 400ish tank and CP 200ish dps and a CP 241 healer (I remember the healers CP because he is the one this is about)

Anyways not long into the run I noticed incoming damage was rather high and no ones health bars seemed to be getting healed quickly at all. The tank and other dps both had died multiple times by second boss and found myself having to play very defensively rather than really dealing damage. I noticed the healer kept spamming jabs and did not see any healing springs or other attempts at healing or supporting the group.

I asked the healer why he keeps spamming jabs and if he could try and throw out some healing springs or shards and let us do most the damage. His response was, "I can't heal you all if I'm dead and I have to use jabs to keep myself alive"

I than tried to tell him that using healing springs would heal himself and the group as well and that breath of life would also heal himself. His response, "I've done all content in game and healing springs is garbage the amount it heals for isn't as high as breath of life so it's not worth using resources on"

I ask him than if he has cleared VMOL and VHOF (first week it came out) since he claims he has done all content in game in game on Hardmode. He proceeds to tell me how he runs VMOL and VHOF and how easy they are for him. Having cleared VMOL many times myself I knew this was absolute BS but I didn't want to really get in a headset war so I just remained somewhat quiet trying to give advice about fight mechanics to the rest of the group as we went.

When we got to the last boss I started to tell the group that this boss has some crazy one shot mechanics and was trying to go over the fight for the other dps who had not been in there before. The healer continuously would cut me off and say how the fight is not hard what so ever and how we are just wasting time.

So we pull and within 10 seconds of the fight boss teleports to healer and BAM one shot dead. So I res him and 5 seconds later BAM one shot dead. This continues to happen several more times so I say to him "Bro I thought you do hard modes in your sleep?" He becomes insanely irritated by this point and is yelling and all sorts of things thru out the rest of fight, which we ended up beating first try because I was adamant about keeping up with the res's.

So after the fight the tank and other dps leave almost instantly and the healer actually stays and talks to me and actually starts asking advice. He goes on to tell me how he has 1400 spell power and that he has higher spell power than any other player he's met and that he is trying to get his spell damage as high as possible. I ask him if he wants pure spell damage if he has tried Julianos out his response and I quote, "I tried Julianos but I don't like stamina sets for healing".....

This is pretty much my story, sorry I know it's a lot to read but I found it rather entertaining

p.s. also to think about it, OP is an elitist anyway. Just not as bad as that cp400 guy. That guy was raging, she simply refused to play with low cp in DLC dungeons (not mother Theresa, right). Also, I bet that her guild has requirements and she only plays with a certain circle of people who are good enough and not everyone can play with them. Yeah still an elitist, just not the raging type. This paragraph is for people who say "elite but not an elitist". It might seem that way, but if you really look at this post...

I highly despise elitists (the correct term defined in several responses here) and I enjoy seeing one getting what they deserve. But I have to point out that I cannot avoid seeing a big piece of humblebragging in some of these kind of stories, sounding like:

"Me, a true elite player and proud with all skins, cp 2000, former emperor six times, solo-ed every trial HM, top ten leaderboards every week, taught a humility lesson to a pathetic lower-level-than-me elitist who hasn't even completed a normal trial (poor little thing), for being a show-off and an *** towards another player. I'm such a hero".

And so our conversation begins..

I decide at this moment...I am going to show him just what a REAL elitist is...I explain to this "elite" CP 400 DPS in heavy armor and a 2H that my friend Swagg and I top leaderboards so we should be more than capable of carrying someone thru Wayrest except...unfortunately we are not going to be carrying HIM.

I vote to kick him and of course, it passes immediately. The CP 94 is apologizing profusely in group and area chat.
We reassure him that he is doing fine, give him a few pointers on tanking and continue. We were fine until last boss who one shotted him repeatedly thru his 16k health.
But in this moment I WAS DEDICATED.

I decided to switch to my tank. My tank who has tanked Vmol while I breastfed.

*Meanwhile, I notice Mr CP 400 has whispered me...and called me a "console pleb".
I swap from my healer to tank and respond to Mr CP 400.

Apparently, he doesn't realize that he is whispering me on console as well which makes him also a...console pleb.

But! Mr CP 400 inspired me. I was going to carry this low-level through whatever dungeon showed up for pledges today because I was inspired!
Yes! I am an elitist and I am proud of it, but I am an elitist with a heart and the memory..of when I too..was a noob. (It was last week, I think ) A noob hard casting crystal frags in heavy reinforced non set armor.

So I got on my BIS DK tank with Ebon and Alkosh and I tanked the ever loving hell out of that final boss while CP 94 heavy attacked like his life depended on it.

Did she oneshot him every 3.5 seconds? Yes. Did she enrage? Yes. Did her soul tether instakill him? Good god YES.
But he got back up, (I made Swagg res him after every death even though we didnt need him, it was the principle of the matter, I wanted him on his FEET and ALIVE when she died dammit) and he continued to be a team player (I told him not to taunt) until she died.
It was his first clear ever in a vet dungeon. And we 3 manned it. Well, technically 2 cause he didnt count but whatever.
It was the funnest, most absurd predicament and I loved every moment of it.

I loved it so much, I drug him along to do the 2nd pledge (Not the DLC, I may have my saint moments but Im not Mother Theresa) and he heavy attacked his way to another skill point in BC.
Could I have kicked him in Wayrest and run it in 5 mins flat? Yes. Could I have chosen not to drag him thru a 2nd dungeon? Yes.
But he inspired me. To rub it in Mr CP 400's face that a true elitist..a real elitist? They can carry anyone thru just about anything (except the twins, dear god no).

So, if you are complaining or you are worried about having ONE low CP noob in your easy peasy level 1 veteran dungeon..well, then you're probably not as much of an elitist as you think you are.

Word of advice, if you are going to single out someone for being low level, make sure you are at the very least MAX level your damned self.

Shoutout to that CP 94(now 96 after the pledges!) for hanging in there. There ARE elitists out there that are helpful and willing to play as a team.

I love this kind of stuff. Kudos to you!

Not going to lie. I felt awful last night when I was queuing the dailies as a tank on my dps to level my other skills only to find out my dps sorc was in vet blessed crucible. What an accidental ass I was but the team I was with was real cool and we beat it with ease. So I guess it's hit or miss?

omg.show me whole seperate post i created. because that never happened! this is the only post. the only one. history for people is not hard to see. And that never happened. As i stated before. I think it takes 2? clicks to see someones post history. Reclick please. Look at mine. I never brought this up in any of my other post on other threads and I didn't make a separate topic about this at all which is very easy to verify.

Well...he is not talking to me. He is talking to the poor CP 94 tank with a two hand weapon, yes, but is actually holding taunt and staying ALIVE.
I couldve easily asked Mr CP 400 the same thing.

And so our conversation begins..

I decide at this moment...I am going to show him just what a REAL elitist is...I explain to this "elite" CP 400 DPS in heavy armor and a 2H that my friend Swagg and I top leaderboards so we should be more than capable of carrying someone thru Wayrest except...unfortunately we are not going to be carrying HIM.

I vote to kick him and of course, it passes immediately. The CP 94 is apologizing profusely in group and area chat.
We reassure him that he is doing fine, give him a few pointers on tanking and continue. We were fine until last boss who one shotted him repeatedly thru his 16k health.
But in this moment I WAS DEDICATED.

I decided to switch to my tank. My tank who has tanked Vmol while I breastfed.

*Meanwhile, I notice Mr CP 400 has whispered me...and called me a "console pleb".
I swap from my healer to tank and respond to Mr CP 400.

Apparently, he doesn't realize that he is whispering me on console as well which makes him also a...console pleb.

But! Mr CP 400 inspired me. I was going to carry this low-level through whatever dungeon showed up for pledges today because I was inspired!
Yes! I am an elitist and I am proud of it, but I am an elitist with a heart and the memory..of when I too..was a noob. (It was last week, I think ) A noob hard casting crystal frags in heavy reinforced non set armor.

So I got on my BIS DK tank with Ebon and Alkosh and I tanked the ever loving hell out of that final boss while CP 94 heavy attacked like his life depended on it.

Did she oneshot him every 3.5 seconds? Yes. Did she enrage? Yes. Did her soul tether instakill him? Good god YES.
But he got back up, (I made Swagg res him after every death even though we didnt need him, it was the principle of the matter, I wanted him on his FEET and ALIVE when she died dammit) and he continued to be a team player (I told him not to taunt) until she died.
It was his first clear ever in a vet dungeon. And we 3 manned it. Well, technically 2 cause he didnt count but whatever.
It was the funnest, most absurd predicament and I loved every moment of it.

I loved it so much, I drug him along to do the 2nd pledge (Not the DLC, I may have my saint moments but Im not Mother Theresa) and he heavy attacked his way to another skill point in BC.
Could I have kicked him in Wayrest and run it in 5 mins flat? Yes. Could I have chosen not to drag him thru a 2nd dungeon? Yes.
But he inspired me. To rub it in Mr CP 400's face that a true elitist..a real elitist? They can carry anyone thru just about anything (except the twins, dear god no).

So, if you are complaining or you are worried about having ONE low CP noob in your easy peasy level 1 veteran dungeon..well, then you're probably not as much of an elitist as you think you are.

Word of advice, if you are going to single out someone for being low level, make sure you are at the very least MAX level your damned self.

Shoutout to that CP 94(now 96 after the pledges!) for hanging in there. There ARE elitists out there that are helpful and willing to play as a team.

Not going to lie. I felt awful last night when I was queuing the dailies as a tank on my dps to level my other skills only to find out my dps sorc was in vet blessed crucible. What an accidental ass I was but the team I was with was real cool and we beat it with ease. So I guess it's hit or miss?

It's completely hit or miss. that's why I don't use the finder very often whatsoever.

This very topic is a separate topic created just to farm attention and awesomes with agrees. That's why you got that negative reaction. Another reason is that you actually did demonstrate that you are an elitist. You just weren't raging in this particular example and screenshotted another guy doing so. I always love to carry teams as well, especially if they are struggling a lot and really need a top leaderboard raid DPS to support them

But please...... elitists are people who are of decent-good skill level who are just d***s to everyone by praising themselves and belittling others based on player skill. If you're a top leaderboard person you don't have to be an elitist....

Aww but you see if he was worried about time he had no reason to even complain. Like i said, up to the point he called out the low cp guy, we had been doing fine. it was wayrest for gods sake.
the low cp guy hadnt died or ran the boss around in circles or anything like that. if cp 400 had just kept quiet we wouldve flown thru it like we did without him.
Yes when we got to last boss, low cp guy wouldve gotten one shot repeatedly and I wouldve swapped to tank just like I did without cp 400.
Nothing changed whatsoever except Mr cp 400 didnt get to complete it with us bc he had a terrible attitude towards the low cp guy for no reason whatsoever.

Mr Cp 400 should have taken a chill pill.and enjoyed the gravy train lol. I like doing randoms to meet new people and if we dont get through it there is always next time. Enjoy the social aspect have some laughs. Have also used it as an opportunity to recruit to guild.

Modern translation: He with low CP that DPSes in heavy armor and a 2H should not attack the humble low CP tank in heavy armor/2H ..while Im around.
And its a fantastic way to recruit. I met some of my best guildies in random dungeon runs.

Reminds me of being sh**-talked on my baby EU in vet DC II. I was cp ~90 at the time in cp 80 purple set gear and pulling 15-17k dps(despite having agro half the time because the 200-something cp tank didn't seem aware of existence of taunts). The fun part? The guy who sh**-talked me, a ~400 cp stamblade, did so laying dead on the first boss. You know, the one who moves the giant fire thing around himself that kinda screams "DON'T STAND IN ME UNLESS YOU WANNA DIE"? ...yeah. He ran right into it, died, then used the time he spent laying there dead to tell me(alive and dpsing the boss) how much I suck and how I should never have queued for vet dungeon.

The saddest part of it is when the other 2(~200 cp tank and I think ~300 cp healer, both pretty subpar in their roles) totally agreed with him and kicked me after Gorbul despite us not wiping once and me doing ~40% group dps. Why do people tend to believe the loudest yelling idiot, especially if he finds lots of cursing and sh**t throwing to back up his point? Smh...I hope they got a 600 cp potato who light attacked his way with bow and got them wiped on last boss. Yes I'm vicious like that

Im sorry, Im not going to feel guilty for not adding my story to a necro thread about pugging that was created months ago that until you mentioned, I didnt even recall existed.
I posted it, on an open forum in an appropriate category and got to hear about some cool experiences that others have had that are funny or similar.

In my book thats a win win even with the few negative replies. I wouldnt have made it thru life if I only ever did what OTHER people thought I should do at any given moment.
