It's not a bad idea. I play a few other games where if you give them a "significant" date, they will, on that date every year, send you a special in-game item or in-game store coupon. It doesn't have to be a birthday, just any day you find significant, for whatever reason. In one game I just picked a random date a few weeks in advance of the promotion's inception.0
