The changes have slowed combat to a crawl. Player Skill has been thrown by the wayside, and combat has been dumbed down to the point of why even have a rotation or Skills on your bar? The focus on Heavy Attacking has become so intense, that the entire point of combat now is to Heavy Attack, and weave in a Skill or two for visual flair only. ZOS has eviscerated what was once a very fun, skill-based combat system into a mindless slog of Heavy Attacks, with very little though or planning needed. We want to preserve the fast-paced combat that ESO is known for.
Resource micro-management and constantly eyeing your resource bars is all and only what Players have time for in combat after the changes. We want Players to have to think about their resources, but not so much that it becomes the focus of their game play.
The changes did the opposite. The gap between end-game and beginning Players has gone from a "gap" to a *** "gulf", and nothing has changed in PvP (which was the entire area that these changes were focused upon). If anything, those same end-game PvP Players now have an even easier time nuking newer Players. The changes have definitely, and disproportionately, hit newer Players much much harder than veteran, end-game level Players. Our main goal is to lower the ceiling and raise the floor. This way, there's much less of a gap between the high-end, end-game Player and a Player just starting out in the game.

I disagree with people saying it's more challenging; (burst) damage is higher and my vMA scores are actually better.
All I do is heavy attack more and use different food/drinks.

I'm neither of the 3.

Ah, you're right! I totally forgot to list the fourth option:
A shill that will justify any failure on ZoS' part, instead of holding them accountable for their poor decisions
