See related poll thread. In short,

If one-handed, go nirn or infused, if 2-handed, you can argue.

    FYI

Now (thread title) <> next patch.
Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

I'm going with Nirnhoned main bar with a WD glyph, and an Infused bow with an Oblivion glyph. I'd be curious about testing out a 2H that's infused however I'm not sure if I like the idea of sacrificing the damage of all my attacks, and reducing my heals for the sake of that Oblivion glyph.

Not withstanding the results of this survey and the OP's analysis, Blobs did a video testing out the new traits. Roughly speaking - Precise has the highest raw damage increase, but is bad against shields and high crit resist. Nirnhoned is second highest damage except against high-resistance targets, in which case sharpened still wins. Sharpened is third highest damage, except against shields, and infused is 4th highest overall, except for 1H and shield where infused appears to be the highest overall damage.

Obviously we won't know for sure until more people have tested but Blobs' video is at least involves some actual testing on another player wearing different types of armor.

I saw the video and i saw he wasnt testing against shielded targets for example. This video was just for PvP. He is right against scrubs without any impenetrable traits precise can give most damage like a PvE damage build. There (in PvE) probably presice trait and lover mundus will be the best option.
But against experienced PvPler (they all wear impen) your damage will be higher overall with nirnhoned or infused only. Sharpened has nearly same damage like nirnhoned, but it do much lesser damage against shielded targets. I explained allready why in that thread. In reason of that and cause of increasing your heals too, nirnhoned is the better option!
Precise will negated from shielded enemys and impenetration. We have more magicka classes now, which using shields.. So precise isnt an Option in PvP...
Infused is good with right enchants. Together with torugs pact you can make a tanky low damage build with much oblivion damage for example or just hold the weapon-/spelldamageenchantment active 100% of time. This is the other good option.

In my opinion nirnhoned/infused or infused/infused will be BiS for most builds and classes. Isnt difficult to understand, if you know all facts.

@DeHei well precise does increase heals too, crit still hits an opponent'em health eventually, it's not as bad as it sounds

Nirnhoned is the more reliable choice and more generalized
Precise and Sharpened are more specialized and I think more potent than nirn - not necessarily "better" or "worse"
Infused is very cool in it's nicheness

    I like it :)

And I have the similar thoughts as:

I have a precise trait a long time ago on my healingstaffbackbar in PvE ;)

We need to take a look, if they will change something again.

That's the thing: we don't know all the facts yet. All we have is 1-2 videos with small scale tests and a bunch of speculation and number crunching. There's no way to definitively determine which trait will be BiS, especially since it seems like it's going to vary by your own build as well as your opponent's.

Im sorry...i have much better luck in pvp/ duels with thief than with anything else. For example, many sorcs dont worry about maxing impen. Im not bursting through the shield while they are spamming them even if i have apprentice stone, best way to combat them is to wait till they go offensive, pop my huge HoTs, time the stun for the tail end of their shield and burst them. Having crits on them will always be better than not having them. Only time crits are useless is against heavy armor users with transmutation buff on them. Then ur SoL for ur choice in precise/ thief.

These tests also dont seem to take into account mundus choices AND weapon trait combos.

So you should in theory with zero divines get the exact same damage with precise and new lover stone, as you will with thief and sharpened.
