Yes when we got to last boss, low cp guy wouldve gotten one shot repeatedly and I wouldve swapped to tank just like I did without cp 400.

So a friend and I que for the pledges. We are both near 1000 CP, all hardmode trials completed, leaderboard regulars blah blah blah...what some would describe as...dun dun dun..an elitist.
We were bored. I needed the skill points on my warden and he..he just goes where I drag him typically.
We land in Wayrest 1 Veteran. Easy peasy, right?.
I, on my trial geared warden healer, Swagg is on an OP magsorc, one dps and one tank we dont know. We start blowing thru adds paying no mind to either of the 2 randoms.
Then I see this pop up in group chat from the CP 400 DD.
Whyyyyy are you doing vet dungeons??
Now at first, I dont know what or who he is referring to. So I ask, what do you mean?
Well...he is not talking to me. He is talking to the poor CP 94 tank with a two hand weapon, yes, but is actually holding taunt and staying ALIVE.
I couldve easily asked Mr CP 400 the same thing.
And so our conversation begins..
I decide at this moment...I am going to show him just what a REAL elitist is...I explain to this "elite" CP 400 DPS in heavy armor and a 2H that my friend Swagg and I top leaderboards so we should be more than capable of carrying someone thru Wayrest except...unfortunately we are not going to be carrying HIM.
I vote to kick him and of course, it passes immediately. The CP 94 is apologizing profusely in group and area chat.
We reassure him that he is doing fine, give him a few pointers on tanking and continue. We were fine until last boss who one shotted him repeatedly thru his 16k health.
But in this moment I WAS DEDICATED.
I decided to switch to my tank. My tank who has tanked Vmol while I breastfed.
*Meanwhile, I notice Mr CP 400 has whispered me...and called me a "console pleb".
I swap from my healer to tank and respond to Mr CP 400.
Apparently, he doesn't realize that he is whispering me on console as well which makes him also a...console pleb.
But! Mr CP 400 inspired me. I was going to carry this low-level through whatever dungeon showed up for pledges today because I was inspired!
Yes! I am an elitist and I am proud of it, but I am an elitist with a heart and the memory..of when I too..was a noob. (It was last week, I think) A noob hard casting crystal frags in heavy reinforced non set armor.
So I got on my BIS DK tank with Ebon and Alkosh and I tanked the ever loving hell out of that final boss while CP 94 heavy attacked like his life depended on it.
Did she oneshot him every 3.5 seconds? Yes. Did she enrage? Yes. Did her soul tether instakill him? Good god YES.
But he got back up, (I made Swagg res him after every death even though we didnt need him, it was the principle of the matter, I wanted him on his FEET and ALIVE when she died dammit) and he continued to be a team player (I told him not to taunt) until she died.
It was his first clear ever in a vet dungeon. And we 3 manned it. Well, technically 2 cause he didnt count but whatever.
It was the funnest, most absurd predicament and I loved every moment of it.
I loved it so much, I drug him along to do the 2nd pledge (Not the DLC, I may have my saint moments but Im not Mother Theresa) and he heavy attacked his way to another skill point in BC.
Could I have kicked him in Wayrest and run it in 5 mins flat? Yes. Could I have chosen not to drag him thru a 2nd dungeon? Yes.
But he inspired me. To rub it in Mr CP 400's face that a true elitist..a real elitist? They can carry anyone thru just about anything (except the twins, dear god no).
So, if you are complaining or you are worried about having ONE low CP noob in your easy peasy level 1 veteran dungeon..well, then you're probably not as much of an elitist as you think you are.
Word of advice, if you are going to single out someone for being low level, make sure you are at the very least MAX level your damned self.
Shoutout to that CP 94(now 96 after the pledges!) for hanging in there. There ARE elitists out there that are helpful and willing to play as a team.
very Honerable - i too would never remove any1 from a vet dungeon... regardless of their cp, best way for them to realise their probably undergeared is to run them thro it..
But the bit that maybe me laugh,, call your self elitest - but u switched to your tank, elitest solo Wayrest sewers 1, one of the easily to solo..so with your elite partner aswell .. chuckle ;D...

I swapped to tank because I wanted him to my sexy ass Too Tanky Swizzle DK in his skirt and Maw skin and be INSPIRED.

This is community can sure be agressive. I had an enjoyable encounter and I shared it and that seems to upset you. Which doesn't make any logical sense. And that is why I don't recommend this community or game to friends.

I loved it so much, I drug him along to do the 2nd pledge (Not the DLC, I may have my saint moments but Im not Mother Theresa) and he heavy attacked his way to another skill point in BC.
Could I have kicked him in Wayrest and run it in 5 mins flat? Yes. Could I have chosen not to drag him thru a 2nd dungeon? Yes.
But he inspired me. To rub it in Mr CP 400's face that a true elitist..a real elitist? They can carry anyone thru just about anything (except the twins, dear god no).
And if you are complaining or you are worried about having ONE low CP noob in your veteran dungeon..well, then you're probably not as much of an elitist as you think you are.

It's good to know some people are fighting back against these "wannabe elitists" who keep kicking people from easy dungeons for no good reason. Because it's been annoying me pretty bad lately.

I guess I saw that as being the mature thing to do as opposed to fighting and disagreeing over several more pages and then having it end with absolutely neither person seeing the other side.1 -
AoDD33pfri3d✭✭✭I was on my healer cp 220 at the time and I was standing near a dungeon and a low lv invited me to group and asked to help him thru the dungeon so I joined and got 2 other low lv in. I healed the crap out of them. End story was they finished it and was happy.3

Even though it's not a big deal that actually does make you really happy for a brief moment in time. That's why I shared this. it made me feel really good for a brief moment in time and I'm sure it made the other guy happy that he was able to complete something that he never completed before.4 -

✭✭Haha @TARAFRAKA your story reminds me of a nICP run. I played as a cp350 ish templar tank. Healer was also quite high. Two dps we had were complete utter scrubs. They were nice guys though and you could see they tried their best. One was frantically spamming snipe, while the other use executioner on full health mobs. You get the picture. So in stead of vote to kick, the healer and I tried to give them advice such as using steel tornado and endless hail on trash. Stuff like that.
They died a lot throughout the whole dungeon. Standing in acid in the 3rd boss fight, but they tried to listen. We pushed on, and 100 soul gems further, we finally reach lord warden. So we went through the tactics and MY GOD!? We did it in one go! Unbelievable. One of the 2 dps was out of his freaking mind, screaming "Guys! That was such an epic fight, THANK YOU for this. Thanks so much!" We did it in about 1.5-2 hours, but after those final reactions it was worth it in my opinion.4 -

you're not even able to reflect the way you were writing and how u talked about yourself. elitism sucks. it doesnt matter if you are a *** elitist, or playing jesus-elitist beeing aware of how great you are yourself, your posts stink from self-congratulation, its awfull and it hurts to read. both are singns of arrogance. come down from where u are, and recognize its just a game. and beeing able to move your fingers a bit faster in a game doesnt make u better than anyone else here, also not, if you are at least not flaming at other people, it just makes u a bit less *** than the other guy.
coming back to what u wrote: why is it good to pull people through a dungeon, which maybe want to experience something and have to learn the real difficulies, why is it cool to tell the guy what he has to do and all that stuff? giving some tipps is nice, and good, but taking all responsibilities from him as tank isnt usefull for him in any ways. he has to learn this dungeon, and playing it with two cp 1000 elitists and a cp 400 wannabe isnt for him usefull in any ways too. just my 5 cents, so even the cp 400 attitude was rude and unfriendly, but carrying isnt usefull as well, skipping all mechanics because u have such a superduper dps and u have to show everyone and u are sooo generous.... i once did with a friend as well, i remember random group members complaining its too fast for them and they aren't learning anything. and guess what: they were right.
