Unable to launder stolen house item

I found/stole a Velothi Triptych, Waterfall that clearly says is a house item however when I attempt to launder it I get a message saying unable to launder item. It is a really pretty three room divider or so it appears so I would like to launder it and keep it. Anyone have this happen to them or know a fix?

✭✭✭✭✭It's a known bug (I myself have it) there is a patching coming for this at some point but not sure when. It might even be in the update 15 PTS notes but I didn't noticed in my speed read.
Either way you'll have to hold onto it for a while until the patch goes in and be careful not to get caught by a guard.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

✭✭✭I had the same thing happen right after Morrowind launch. Ended up destroying the painting, as I steal too much to not get caught at least a few times.
And I"ve never found another painting since.
