srsly.... banning for such ***? lol
Read your ToS kids, if there is one thing a company will enforce more than anything it's impersonating their name.

I've played a number of games where doing this is a perma-ban with no appeal.

its not like i wouldnt agree on that, its against the tos. but also its some kind of a stupid kiddyo joke. no problems with a punishment, but it would really make me leave wondering, when its a perma ban then, while we deal each day with worse problems in game :)

I would say that a perma ban is way too severe for this. If the letter had directed the receiver to a fake Zenimax website to get hacked or something like that then I would say a permanent ban was in order. But this doesn't seem to be anything malicious. Just someone having a bit of fun.

It's appropriate... for all you know, the next message from the guy would be trying to con people into giving stuff or going to a website to enter credentials, or to pay for a 1 off fee to "clear" their account.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!

usually u ban on a crime, and not on what might be future crime. or do i tell the people, that you should be hanged, because you could kill someone?

The 1st crime was impersonating a ZOS employee... and he was just protected by the kind people of Zenimax from doing another crime!

You're not posting from work? I thought that's what everyone here did.

i do, i just wish, gina was able to answer some more serious issues in forums. sure, if she gets nothing from the zos team, there might be nothing she can answer on...but stilll...it feels weird, seeing all those threads, also me having an issue (bots/goldsellers) i am expecting an answer on and then seeing zos staff posting funpics... it well feels weird :)

even though the pic is cute. ;)

The thing i see is they do try and help out as best they can, certain things for example impersonating a ZOS Employee is something they can act on quickly, as for ingame issues i am sure they have to research the correct fix/ answer before just posting the first logical thing they can think of.When you look at the posts comments daily its a lot to get through and as every problem needs investigating to weed out the problems from the whingebags and trolls must be bloody time consuming.Anyway posting of images cheered me up.

oh, i agree, i know that the zos community managers are quite poor middlesmen, which aren't responsible, with other ***, zos is doing. but if i troll gina, and her mood gets worse maybe she starts shouting at her collegues which deserve it :O :)

    Somebody just got monithored.

    Good one.

If anyone sees any similar messages or mail, let us know. We'll continue to moniter these reports.

Moniter... Ffs, now the bit about illegitimacy due to grammar that someone else posted can be thrown straight out the damn window.

Impersonating one of the gods is very dangerous indeed. A slight not to be dismissed no.

Why in fact there is no reason at all why Khajiit might be sat here wearing shorts and a fez and writing up natch potes.

None of the reasons at all ...

I can't be the only one on this forum that only ever understands about 10% of what you say. On the bright side, that is still better odds than the in-game RNG.
