War maiden does not help your heals at all. Also running a destro staff will not be helped by war maiden so viable yes definitely is it bis... no. Mag magic and spell damage are still part of the equation.

It's terrible for PvE, since not all your damage will be Magic Damage: Blockade, Destro Ulti & Force Pulse
For PvP it's quite decent, but def not the best. You can give several of your abilities a hefty power boost like Swallow Soul, Assassin's Will proc, Soul Harvest, Impale, Crippling, etc,... But that's about all the set does.
I use war maiden in PVP, most NB magicka skills do magic damage its a great DPS boost. Dhale has a point on destro staff, it will not boost HA and LA, but you can boost that other ways particularly in the CP trees. Additionally you can run degeneration which the dot will be affected by war maiden and the health back is potent.
Its on ultimates where this shines, because if you are running a mage blade in CP you invested in the thurmagurge which will help your dots, so that and war maiden with soul assault is extremely potent.

This is now my favorite misspelling of Thaumaturge. I will intentionally use it from now on. Thank you.

Youre welcome, Im starting a blog next week called "parade of idiots". Its dedicated to those individuals on the web who focus on spelling errors and not what posters actually say.
The back drop is going to be set with a 1997 AOL log in back drop. So those who are still stuck in that time loop will not feel to out of place. I'll send you an email with a link.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1UY7eDRXrs

If you find that hilarious (Im going to go ahead and assume you DONT know what hilarious actually means) then I would strongly urge you to expand your personal repertoire of experiences. If that truly is extremely funny to you, that's not a good thing.
