I know it is old news, but I just want to ventilate my feelings here a bit. Almost each day I have to turn on ALL of my 200 lights in my cave again because someone who thinks he is funny switches ALL of them off, even those on hard to reach places. It takes quite a while to get them all on again and am very tired of it. Today I closed my cave for everyone because I get so frustrated of this. Its a shame, because many people visit my cave to show it to others or use my skellies or my arena. It is really a shame that now many cannot enjoy themselves in my cave anymore because of 1 person. I will not open my cave again until Eso has done something about it. Or a light switch to put all lights on and off, or take away the generel permission to every visitor to switch them off.
I know many of my friends who have the same problem: when can we expect a solution for this, Eso?

With kind regards,

Ala

Don't open it to entire guilds ever. Just create a custom list of the people you want to let in, if you find them all off then at least you know one of your "friends" is the one being a jerk.

Honestly though I hope ZOS gets a permission toggle for this one day.

A light switch is actually a fantastic idea. It could be a dwemer toggle device or spell book or whatever. I hope they eventually put this in.

A clapper would be good and use /clap emote to switch lights on and off

The simpler solution is probably to make it so only you can interact with your own lights.

We need a more refined permissions system- visitors who can't do anything, decorators who can move stuff, and trusted friends who can place and delete things (and turn off lights).

I think they should only be able to turn lights off and on if they are on your 'decorator' list. That being said, when I go to my friends house, I turn his lights off. >:)
