It would be awesome if we could change the day/night cycle and weather at our homes. I would love if I could have it permanently nighttime and raining at my Forsaken Stronghold, and I'm sure there are many who would enjoy it to be daytime and sunny all the time.

This could benefit everyone in the following ways:

• Be able to switch over to nighttime to adjust your outdoor lighting and/or decorations.
• Change the weather to showcase certain items to your friends or in your videos. (Weekly housing vendor item showcase videos)
• Adjust day/night to help with dying costumes.
• Help with the item count burden. (You won't need outdoor lighting if it's never dark at your place.)

That's all I can think of at the moment, feel free to add to the list. Not really asking for anything new here. All of these effects are already in the game, I'm just asking for a switch.
