In order to run 5 5 2 with both 5 pieces on my mag dk at the same time is duel wield / destroy viable in pve
With the changes with duel wield I'm unsure if that's still a thing. Magicka builds running it that is.

✭✭✭✭✭I run 552 on my mDK with 1h/S and destro. Works fine. It's more than good enough for all PVE content except I change to dual sticks for vma or what little I've done trials.

✭✭Certain sets, it's OK if they only proc on one bar. For example, you might want to organize it so some recovery / defensive set is only active when you are on s&b. So you end up with full 5 piece defensive set only on your s&b bar, while on the destro bar you have 5 of the offensive set, 4 of the defensive set, plus 2pc monster helm
