No. If you enchant a Maelstrom or Master weapon you will destroy the current enchantment, the spell damage is part of that enchantment on the Maelstrom staves.

Do not do that or you will regret it big time

As mentioned above you would lose the enchant

I think it was possible due to a bug about a year ago, but as others have stated you'll loose the extra WD/SD.

You can use poisons but prob. loose the extra WD/SD while it's active.

Doing that will turn your hard-earned Maelstrom staff into a regular old staff. Sure, you could do that but why would you?

If it's sharpened? Just to link it in zone chat.

Well if i use a poison, the spell dam still counts, as if it wasnt part of the enchant.
If i could enchant oblivion dam on an infused staff so i get even more spell dam and an higher oblivion dam, which would be nice.

    As others have said,

"Crushing Wall" is the enchant on the vMA Destruction Staff. It includes both the damage buff to Wall of Elememts and the increased Spell Damage tooltip. Replacing that enchant will remove both effects!

The only catch is that applying a poison maintains the Spell Damage buff.

with poisons you dont lose the damage, with enchant you do

With a poison active you still get the WD/SD bonus.
