The homes are not useless to people that enjoy that sort of thing. Some use them for guilds and have a place to put their attunable crafting. I for one have been waiting for the falkreath style one in the mountains.3 -

I can speak just for myself. I was pretty sure that was self explanatory from what I wrote. Since houses do not provide anything but RP element, I find their use not worth a single euro. If they add storage, animations for usage of beds, better book shelves, well rested bonuses ( XP boost that lasts as much time as you spent in your house), propper non crippled versions of banker/merchant/fence... Well, in that case, I would be glad to get into housing and spend my irl time and resources on that aspect of ESO.1
