Am I right in thinking you had to log in for the 5 consecutive days to get these or is it like one for each day you logged on during the period.

They listed the reset times somewhere but I forget.
Edit: was in the article "You must log in between 12:00am EDT and 11:59pm EDT (Eastern) on each day of the event."

You got one for each day you logged in, so if you logged in 3 days you would get 3.

So you're right.
For each day you logged in during the event, you'll receive a crate.

My primary account has about 500 or so gems right now and my secondary account about 300. I like to stockpile gems (not crowns) as well. Without a doubt, I'll have at least 600 gems on the primary account and over 400 on the secondary account by next season .
