No, but I spend majority of my time on ESO
I play Lotro, Swtor, Destiny and Warframe. Have played a little Neverwinter, but is a very big ptw style and too expensive. I usually hop over and play a new dlc released on each game and then continue on with eso. Will also take a break if a really good single player game releases. Been playing Eso since beta on pc, but will be taking a break when destiny 2 releases in september. Gotta level my Guardians.

Not playing any MMOs since a week after Morrowind dropped. I haven't had any lag spikes, random disconnects, error 200s, boring slow combat, or needy trade guilds. On the other hand I have had fully immersed game worlds, deep story lines and interesting characters. I mean really, MMOs have gone to pot in the last few years and I'm discovering all these great single player games I've missed out on. Damn you SWG for gertting me hooked 14 years ago!

Well i play star trek online too.
I love both the star trek and elder scrolls ip, but i'm worried that sto will follow the same fate as champions online. They focused too much on the whales and now it's stuck in a vicous cycle too squeeze the whales for more money to keep the game running.
Also i really hope those crown crates won't devolve into lockboxes one day which look special items, iconic ships ( comparable to classes), abilites and so on behind a money eating rng monster which people defend because p2w doesn't exist since sto is mainly about pve ( pvp exist and got killed by that locked and op stuff ).New content is smaller than what it used to be and similiar to eso, the test server and player feedback is complety ignored too.

Only MMO I have ever played. I doubt I will have an interest in playing another MMO in the future. I love ESO, but so many of the MMO aspects make it repetitive and grindy. I love having my characters persistent and in the cloud -- having their own existence.

I might try another MMO if it is in an IP I love, like Fallout or Mass Effect. Maybe even Dragon Age. I like to complete the narratives.

Edit: actually, I would like to play through the stories in SWTOR and LOTRO. I don't see myself dedicating much time to them though.

Nope but its one of the few i caref long enough to reach endgame most others like neverwinter sky forge and black desert just grinded me to boredom.. and others like dcuo has so much level locked content you feel trapped from day one like ex saying you much be item level 200 to do this content but only way to get item level 200 is do the content after the lvl 200 content its like wut? Thats like saying you need a maelstrom wep to beat maelstrom to get the wep in the first place...

So eso is my majority though i got high jopes for other games not stuck in the past with rng and lack of transmog

Surprised so many "only" play (or claim to only play) ESO. There are so many MMOs out there, but if you enjoy it then good for you.

I play so many different games I can't keep up, including different MMOs. It just depends on how I feel I guess.

How does WOW compare to eso? I have a couple of friends that have been trying to get me to switch over. They said you can buy the first 100 levels so you don't have as much grinding to get caught up. Is that true? Theyve never played eso tho so it's hard for them to know if I would like it. Can anyone who has played both games offer any insight? What are the pro's and cons of both games?

I'm on Xbox so I'd have to buy a computer to play...I dunno I'm annoyed/unhappy with eso I'm seriously considering it. :/

I've been playing on and off - but mostly off - since launch. Haven't even finished the base game yet. Still have a few maps to do in last alliance zone.

Love ESO's combat and visuals but hate classes and racial bonuses. And not only do I not like that ESO has classes but I don't love what's on offer. I played an elemental mage in the single-player games. ESO splits its elemental skill lines between 3 different classes. I'd long thought wardens might be cool but had already horse trained, levelled and started crafting my nature themed characters in preparation for the long promised but probably never to be seen spellcrafting. Not going to delete all that effort. Will probably just never play them and they'll never be more than storage now.

When Morrowind is seriously discounted I'll probably get it. Don't know if I'll bother with a warden though.

If they ever deliver spellcrafting, that would get my attention.

No, I occasionally play Age of Conan because I really love the gore, music and fighting in that game. I don't play it that much anymore as I have moved on to Conan Exiles which I really like. Also I bought (pledged) Pantheon rise of the fallen and spent time on their forums and other media. Not playing it but I do spent time on it.

I don't have time for more than one game, and I have fun in ESO, so here I am.

    On a related note:

Why do people continue to not only visit the ESO forums but actively participate in them if they no longer play the game, have not played in awhile, and claim to have moved on from ESO?

Is your current game not good? Do you regret leaving? Trolling? Seeking attention? Why are you here?

Serious questions. It's completely bizarre to me that people will linger and lurk long after they stopped playing and moved on from a game.

    Dear Pele,

I reply in the hope that I can relieve you of this most terrible burden.

Like many games, ESO runs promotions to draw former players back, like the recent free ESO Plus event. It drew me back for a few days. I had some thoughts to share about that. I came to the forums to do so and responded to a few other threads, like this one.

Terrible but true, ESO is far from perfect. Many who love the single player games don't play ESO which is blindingly obvious if you look at their sales figures. Accordingly you should expect to read entirely fair criticisms of the game here and elsewhere.

I don't really have a current game but Secret World Legends is looking decent. It offers me the classless experience which ESO doesn't and so far it seems ok. I'm not sure how I feel about all of their weapon gimmicks or monetization but I suppose I'll see how that goes.

It isn't bizarre at all that former players will speak up sometimes. Nor does it warrant you calling them lingerers or lurkers.

    Have a nice day!

I jump around MMO's quite a lot, when i first started playing MMO's i was in one of the largest guilds in the game (Ultima Online) when other MMO's started coming out the guild kind of fractured into three games (UO, EQ, and DAoC) so i picked them up too and went back and forth, then a good chunk of my DAoC friends moved to SWG so i followed, this has happened on and on in a chain through almost every MMO that has been out, so now i have groups of friends in multiple game communities, which means i play a lot of different MMO's. But ESO is always the one i come back to, and even when i'm focusing on other games i log in at least once a week.

It's the only MMO I've ever played. In fact the only multiplayer game I actually like besides ESO is Battlefield (2 and 3 namely). I would've never even considered playing ESO if it wasn't set in the Elder Scrolls universe. I'm glad I tried it, since I really like it. There are some things that bother about game and ZOS but generally, I'm having a positive experience with this game. I'd even go as far as saying it's in my top 3 games at the moment, along with Skyrim and Witcher 3.
