I have 5 days to play all the DLC.... perhaps attune a crafting station to julianos. go go.

Well my PhD scholarship ran out 4 years ago, so i haven't been payed in a long time. Now I started playing because I thought I was finished, but it bounced back to me with another year worth of edits and statements about how it seemed rushed. Now i don't even want to do it any more so i am barely working on it atm. Working on it in the loading screens.... they are that long.

Basically I can't commit to anything because i don't have any income (I have plenty of savings) and don't even know where the world I'd have to travel to get a job. Even my computer is 9 years old and barely hanging on, but can't upgrade because I wont be able to take it on a plane.

It was really good to see zos trying a different way to encourage players to subscribe. I hope some players decide to subscribe.

But I think zos need to do more to improve eso plus to make it worthwhile.

I cancelled after subbing for 8-9 months because not all DLC are included in the sub anymore. I don't see myself going back any time soon (other than for odd months when I want to change something in my house or dye a costume). The value just isn't there for me.

Please note this is my personal opinion...

I was subed what seams like ages ( had over 20k in crown ) i have limited ed game ( imperial ed) with stature and got morowind as well as limited ed with statue so my love for the game was always there, however me as a player and having different views to ZOS changing of the game and nerfing , loosing my friends and guild mates due to the heavy attack online now, the lag .. i just could not bring my self to support ZOS decisions by having subbed .

and yes i understand the reasons its not L2P ect and no i am still going to play every now and then , what i am trying to say
out of sooo many thing players wanted to have what did we get ?

DLC that was not a DLC but a chapter that needed to be paid separately ( as i got morrowind limited ed it was not about money but principal)

warden class that ..i don't know ..allot of people wanted monk or necromancer ect and we got Fairy..

nerfing .. so many nerfing .. taking from temps given to Fairy , CP changes that nobody wanted

Lag ... lag and more lag..

Group finder now working for how long now ?

    and many other things

If ZOS actually listens to its people its players and if we got this allot more people would sub and join

    jewelry crafting

tokens TOKENS AND MORE TOKENS .. ZOS i know this will fall on deaf ears SO READ! people are sick and tired of RNG .. make each dungeon drop Tokens and we can buy items PLEDGES TOKENS not a key VMSA TOKEN not a RNG

Necromancer ( yes i personalty want one as ive seen them in ESO why can't i join them ? ) Monk hand to hand ect anything

Spell Crafting ... come on ... how much people are tired of having two handed count as 1 handed ?

    WEAPONS !!! spear ! crossbow , halberd !!

Any one of those things would make people more excited and sub and love the game ..

ZOS we love this game and we don't want to see it fail before our eyes , we get you want us to run same thing 200 times for a chance to get sharp one handed wp and are afraid if that changes nobody would run it again but you need to understand .. once when the game becomes a chore a job when you neeed to do something over and over and over again to get one thing and you are missing out enjoying the game, you loose the interest and you quit.

anyway ive read allot of posts from you guys and the are sooooooooo many great ideas out there but alas nothing

sorry for the rant but as i said this is just my why i unsub opinion

Simply I don`t know. Bag indeed looks more convenient, but yea I can live without it, she just leaves me free of relogin on diffrent toons, transfering mats and etc.
Other then that...deco limits are nice too...thats all. Can`t figure out anything else.
Guess ZOS needs to encourage people with permanent DLCs to go sub, with somekind bonuses. It does feel a bit cheated, when you bought all or almoust all DLCs(No with " gifted " crowns from eso+ ), but you still pay same as dude who didn`t buy anything, more then 14euro/month.
I don`t know....lower cost to 10/month, or give extra 500 crowns. If you own DLCs...It`s just kinda feels to expensive to pay for this little benefits.
I guess majority of people buy eso+ only because of the craft bag.

The only thing I really want from subscribing, is access to all DLC's, which I already have thanks to the Guilds and Glory pack. (Shadows of the Hist doesn't seem that big, so I left it out, sorry)
The DLC's add more content to the game. Thieves guild, for example, pretty much adds in a whole new playstyle. Rather than just killing your way through quests, you have to sneak and NOT fight, at all cost (unless you don't mind high bounties).

Everything else subscription offers is ways to easen burdens, by allowing you to store more in your bank and getting to put all crafting stuff in a craft bag, and progress faster, by giving you more gold, xp, inspiration and getting everything researched faster. But in the end, it doesn't really add to the game. If I had to choose between DLC's and everything else the subscription offered (minus the monthly crowns), I'd take the DLC's any day. In Skyrim, imagine having to choose between being able to play through the stories of all guilds (college of winterhold, thieves guild, dark brotherhood, the companions, ...) OR infinite carry weight. The carry weight is nice, but I would miss out on some great stories.

Subscribing is also terrible for me, as it pretty much forces me to play ESO. I have other games that I like to play, some singleplayer, some multiplayer. One day, I start my PC and I want to play something else, or maybe this game is holding a special event that I can benefit alot from (like this ESO+ trial), or maybe an old friend invites me to play a good old-fashioned game for trip down memory lane. With a subscription, I have to deny all of them, because if I end up only playing 10 hours ESO on a month, while I could've played hundreds of hours, it would feel like I've wasted my money. I better buy another game worth the 3-month sub: I can play it whenever I want, I can play it for millions of hours if I want, and best of all, it's a new game. New stories, new characters, new way of playing, and much more. A 3 month subscription can never give me that satisfaction.

In the end, I'm happy that I choose the G&G pack over subscribing until I get enough to permanently unlock the DLC's. It's 9500 crowns to buy these 4 DLC's. With my adventure pack giving me 500 crowns, that would've costed me about €68,29 and 6 months to get the crowns to buy them. Now I got them for about €25, and without sale it would've still been only €35.
Subscribing has some nice things, but I only see myself subscribing 1 more time, or waiting for this event to occur once more, so I can (re)dye my stuff, re-stock my craftbag and empty my bank again. I will not be a subscriber, but I might pay for 1 month to unlock these nifty things once more and make full use of it. I won't be a dedicated subscriber.

    Long story short:
No, I will not be a subscriber after this. Maybe, somewhere in the far future, I'll subscribe for a single month, to fill up my crafting bag and houses, but they're not essential to my gameplay, and I can live without.

I'm not sub because there's no Russian, Spanish and other languages. If they want us to play this game and give them money, they should make it comfortable for us. Unless they didn't it seems like they don't want us to play this game.
One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

Short answer: A subscription model does not work for me.

Long answer: My life is too unpredictable. Until this morning I thought I'd have all weekend free. I've just found out that actually I'll have 1/2 of Saturday morning and maybe Sunday evening. I'm often away from home for days at a time for either work or family stuff. I wouldn't change that for the world, I love my job and seeing my family, but it does make paying for game time in advance a waste of money.

On top of which most of the ESO Plus benefits don't appeal to me. I'd much rather buy the DLC out-right and have it there whenever I want it (I'm not the type to rush through content in one go and then never go back to it), I have plenty of room in my bank/crafters inventory for the materials I want to keep, before One Tamriel I was over-levelling content anyway so I don't need an XP boost. Likewise extra bank space is useless because all I keep in there is crafting materials.

The ability to dye costumes is nice but it's something I'd do once and then leave. I bought a month's subscription back in August to dye all my costumes (my original plan was to buy dye stamps, until I found out they're useless), I did the same again in June (annoyingly it ended just before the free trial so I missed out on free crown crates) because I had 3 new characters and 2 new costumes. I doubt I'll buy ESO Plus again until I need to do them again.

Definitely not. I had Eso+ for quite a long time, not because of the benefits, but because I liked the game. When Morrowind was not included, I decided to cancel my eso+ and see this game no longer as sub based. If zos thinks 40€ each year is more than 13€ each month, they can have it. Since I don't care about costumes, crates and other cosmetic stuff I still have enough crowns saved to buy all upcomming dlcs for the next few years.

Because we're curious about the answers as well and ZOS are not going to tell us. I was planning to make a topic like this after the trial was over.

Sure I don't need to know, but I thought the free trial was an interesting idea and I'm curious about how effective it would be. I know a lot of subscribers say that once you've gotten used to the ESO Plus benefits you won't want to play without them (particularly the crafting bag) but I've never been sure how true that is for other people. I know it doesn't apply to me, but I'm just 1 person.

Bought outright all the dlc with the crowns from my sub; not much I was interested in in the crown store, and I keep access to the dlc if I decide to stop the sub. Unless I really have to, I don't see that happening. I'm finding the craft bag and extra bank space rather useful and valuable to me. I don't mind paying for a "chapter" once a year if the content is worth it to me. Still haven't finished the quests or exploring Vvardenfell. But I did just finish the ancestral tombs quest and got my title: Librarian.

Some people who have had their subs run out says that we are able to keep mats in the craft bag(we just can't add anything new to it) and furniture over the free limit, so I'd guess that costumes work the same way.

This is exactly what I've done in the past.

Costumes definitely stay dyed and materials should stay in the crafting bag, but I've heard some people encountered a bug where they were all dumped into the inventory of the first character they logged into. I'm not sure if Support could/would fix it if that happens.

Apparently you also keep any progress you make with the DLCs, but I've not been able to test that myself because I already owned all except Shadows of the Hist and I've not tried playing that one. I did keep the Heroic Personality though.
