Midyear Mayhem idea, heh

Just thought of an interesting and equally crappy idea.

During the Midyear Mayhem event, Duels cannot be declined. If someone initiates a Duel with you, you have to either fight it, or forfeit.

Some candy for the open PvP supporters.

Me running on my Pve Raid Tank though a city shouldn't be able to decline a Duell??? Very bad idea

Hence, "equally crappy". I hate forced PvP as well, but thought this was a fitting idea to the event's theme.

I think this is a horrible idea personally.

If someone doesn't want to duel and just wants to go do their crafting daily they don't need to be spammed with request to duel until they accidentally press F whilst trying to interact with something else.

The only people this would benefit are the people who want to beat up those who can't actually duel for lolz or achievement farming.

If someone with max level initiate duel with 10 lvl - can't decline? If someone initiate duels with you all the time, giving you no way to do anything else - can't decline? If somebody have no food and potions - can't decline? If somebody is absolutely not interested in PvP and event - wow, how funny would it be to make game unsufferable and impossible to them!

Sriously? It seems like a borderline grudge from you after all this time. I remember that exchange we had back then that started this, about that "PC gets stuff before Console" crap, and I at least was serious in my opinion. If you honestly took it as me Trolling, which I never do, then thats your problem and i'd like it if you got over it and didnt give me *** whenever you chose to address me, otherwise i will have to just ignore you myself. Im not what you make me out to be.

Can we be adults here already or not?

Yeah, let's force PvP on all those that avoid it in this game like a cancer. So many peek not playing for the length of the event because there is a group of *** in every town and city clearing out everything. This has got to be one of the worst suggestions I've ever seen.

Don't like that idea. I can't stand pvp and want nothing to do with it. I'd have to stop playing or decorate my house for the time the event takes place if they'd disable the option to decline duels - which will obviously never ever happen.

Probably the worst idea I have seen in a while. Just smells of someone looking to farm their dueling title.

All you do it equip your dueling gear, head over to vvardenfell, wait for fresh faced new players to finish the tutorial and "force" (since you can't decline, it's then not exactly an invite) them to duel. Bam dueling title in 30mins or so.

If you want to duel go to deshaan or stormhaven.

Long time ago i let my opinion known in a thread about how it wasnt fair that PC users got content sooner than Console players, and maybe itd be better for everyone if the PC release dates for content were pushed back to match the earliest Console dates possible, so everyone experienced content at the same time. Of course, some took exception to that, including the now ignored person above, saying i was selfish to think that way. When i argued my stance, i was labelled a Troll, and since then whenever she said anything to me in a thread, it was always insulting. I've had enough.

Now yes, we can get back to how terrible this idea is.

I like the idea of PvP everywhere, buuut. My main usually runs around naked('cus I swap gear a lot and I'm too lazy to put on something else....) so she runs around naked when I do writs etc. Not being able to decline a duel naked... well. RIP.

I would have just gone with I don't know many guys who post under the name Betheny on forums, then again this is the internet so there are probably a lot of them I've never realised.

Anyway OP, did it ever occur to you my posts are just responses to individually terrible ideas, and not actually directed at you?

There's a ton of people in this thread insulting your idea, I wouldn't be worried about little ol' me. I was just passing by.

Why not? I love it when people inv my Tank for a duel, they can never kill me 1v1 and end up running off. Even with Tumorscale on you'll kill them eventually.
