Lots of QoL improvements for next patch, but still no mention of increasing HOUSING Item Slots?

I really love the quality of life improvements coming with next major patch, but I am disappointed to see yet more furnishings and Houses being added without any mention to amending the Item Slot limits for housing.

Currently they are very restricting, even with ESO plus and many players have voiced this on the forums, but we've heard very little on the topic besides a vague AMA talking about Housing Storage itself, not so much item limit increases (Could not find the source sorry!)

Any immediate or future plans to INCREASE the Item slot limits for housing in the works? @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno

Yes please, max housing items have to increase!! I still have a lot i want to do with my Hundings palace but i have long since reached my 600 item limit!

Plus it seems weird that a place like Hundings palace it set for 600 limit but my Sleek Creek has 400 max. Sleek Creek with 400 items can look cluttered and full but 600 items in Hundings Palace can still look bare and empty!!

Didn't Zos make a statement on slots for furnishings in housing recently? I could be wrong but I thought they stated they were not planning on increasing the number of slots during the last two weeks.

It was ambiguous if we're talking about the same thing since it was specifically talking about Housing Storage, which I interpreted as more so about peoples request for in house chests etc as opposed to item slots, maybe I interpreted it wrong, if I could find the source I would link, but can't find it :(.

If we're talking about something else, if could link me that would be great, but if true that is very disappointing to hear.

I am sorry for your luck, but I would hope people being unable to play a portion of the content will take precedence over housing slots (as it should).

That being said, how hard can it possibly be to change the number of slots available? I am guessing they haven't finalized the way they are going to monetize/profit off of it.

Yeah I just bought Daggerfall and realized it only added 100 more slots than a large house, I was like wow lol

I personally think that if they we're to increase amount of items in houses we would have tons of crashing .As i recall that what happen when housing was release.

It's not about luck, it's about keeping the systems for housing they implement relevant seeing as they continuously introduce new housing items and houses.

We can not place our achievement, crown collectables in there without reaching that particular limit, nor do the majority of housing enthusiasts enjoy redesigning their whole house every patch seeing as there is no room for more items, or simply barricading areas of the house off avoid an empty house.

So if ZOS continues to introduce new housing items, then surely we should have more item slots to be creative with them without removing half of the items in our existing houses.

Yes but the fact that people still can't group queue into battlegrounds and currently NA servers are filled with people rubber banding all over tamriel...I mean I just can't imagine this is on the top of their priority list.

I do sincerely hope you guys get your slots increased. It's been a prevalent complaint, so I do not believe it is without merit.

As has been said in the past from my understanding the limit is because of issues with lower end machines.

Maybe in time as ZOS phase out more older machines they will update it, but I can't see them doing anything any time soon in regards to this (though I would gladly be proved wrong).

Housing to many is just as important as pvp, and to me more important

Ye man I know that trust me, I haven't been able to consistently queue as a group for BG since launch either and it sucks that you're having connectivity issues and lag, but remember that the people that work on housing are most likely not the same people working on group queue systems and what not.

ZOS claim to have some more fixes for BG next incremental, but I don't hold my breath, there is acknowledgement though, point is there doesn't feel like there is much here.

Ahh, another patch, another nerf festival and or disappointing hamfisted solution to a problem, this time difficulty.

I fully expect for Horns of the Reach to be difficult as sin and not worth my time or money, given ZOS seems to be abhoring the idea of new difficulty systems as well.

And their not gonna rescend the sustain changes, so what's the point?

It's definitely disappointing that 1 house cannot store all dungeon trophies.

If people get too much lag they can remove some stuff or remove high polynom items or lights who I assume generate most lag. Other areas is far more demanding in item counts and have lots of players or combat going on.

Add idiot restrictions like number of trophies.
Why at least not sell more housing slots in crown store?
Note it don't affect me I bought an furnished mansion with crowns and have just added an few items, got into the trophy limit with the cool normal dungeon wall decorations
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Some houses can indeed store all dungeon and trial trophies, unless I'm fundamentally misunderstanding something.

I recognize that there's an issue of semantics at work here to some degree, but my statement stands regardless. Just to clarify: ESO differentiates "Undaunted Trophies" as the mounted heads awarded for normal-level dungeons and trials, while "Undaunted Busts" are the gold statues for the veteran versions. With ESO+ you can currently fit all extant trophies and busts in each of six different houses (two of which are no longer available): Daggerfall Overlook, Ebonheart Chateau, Serenity Falls, Earthtear Cavern, Grand Topal Hideaway, and Tel Galen.

You can also fit 40 of these collectibles (which is enough for a full set of "trophies" or "busts") either in one of the largest houses without ESO+ or in one of the second-largest tier of houses (e.g. Strident Springs Demesne) with it.

So if you want to store all of the Undaunted collectible furnishings, then you'd need one of the six largest houses along with ESO+, but the latter only initially: if I understand it correctly, you can subscribe or use the current free trial to place the extra trophies, then let the subscription lapse and leave those furnishings alone. They shouldn't be removed automatically at the end of the subscription period, but you will be restricted in terms of adding and removing furnishings in that house until you re-subscribe.

Personally, I don't think these requirements are actually beyond the pale. Would it be nice to be able to fit 80 trophies/busts in a "large" house like Strident Springs? Absolutely. I would be over the moon. But I see why that isn't the case from a business perspective and isn't likely to become so in the future, at least not as a default.

All that said, I expect to see an automatic increase in the number of trophies/busts permitted as soon as we get to 41 dungeons and trials (if not sooner). I simply can't imagine the blowback otherwise.

As for generic items (and even "other collectibles," like mounts and assistants), I'd really like to see even a modest automatic increase (which would probably best be proportional, e.g. by 10-20% of the current limits). I also think ZoS would make bank if they added additional furnishing slots in the Crown Store. Such an option would also very likely tempt me into buying into the largest houses, which I can't rightly justify to myself at their current furnishing limits. (That's just my opinion in light of my own financial situation and aesthetic tastes, not a judgment on those who do feel the houses are worth it.)
