Okay, so can somebody please explain to me how this works? I equipped my bow with a damage health poison and heavy attacked the target from stealth, so why did I fail the sacrament's secondary objective?

Blade of Woe while on the bar with the poison equipped will clear the condition.

Did you equip poison on your backup weapon as well as the primary weapon?

my guess is that because poisons don't always trigger when you use basic attacks, it didn't activate and therefore it didn't count.

So you need to either equip poision then BoW (not sure which bar it considers so use on both just to be safe) or use poison spells like poison arrow or poison snipe.

Using BoW is the safest way to do it though, in my experience the attacks doesn't count if the tar is oneshot so you will have to get at least one detection if you you an abillity.

This... poisons added to weapons only have a chance of proc (it isn't 100%), something like 20% so you would have had to make your victim look like a hedgehog to guarantee at least one arrow proc'ing the toxin that you attached.

Can confirm, it works if you have a poison equipped and kill your target with Blade of Woe.
    Using abilities/normal attacks is unreliable.

No, I only equipped it on my bow. So what you're all saying is that if I poison my currently-equipped weapon then it'll work 100% on my BoW but not always on the weapon I actually poisoned? Makes perfect sense.

You can also use poison inject or lethal arrow to finish off the target and it'll count

If running dual wield you must poison both weapons or it can fail if the game decides off hand enchant was to proc.

I had the same issue back when it dropped. Blade of woe with poison didn't make sense since it was a 1hit kill anyway.

Equip the poison for fun sake I guess. Night mother wants them "deader". :)

Always use Blade of Woe with poison on your active weapon. I've never failed that objective. You shouldn't EVER be attacking with normal attacks.

    Edit:
Oh, and as an added bonus. Work with a friend as the timer doesn't start until you make your first kill. You go to one target, friend goes to other. Blade of Woe at same time and high tail it out of there. Speed bonus EVERY time...

Yeah, I guess it was silly of me to assume that the weapon I applied poison to would actually poison my target when in fact I should have been using a seemingly unrelated synergy. Goes without saying really, doesn't it?

I'm not annoyed at you, by the way, so I apologise if that came off as rude.

Use Blade of Woe. From what I remember it's also one of the conditions for getting maximum reward. It will also kill the victim in one shot. Using DPS skills can sometimes alert the other NPCs adding to your bounty and sometimes preventing you from getting the full reward (you can alert a maximum of 4 in total). Use dropped poisons as they cost nothing.

As others have said, equip a poison on your weapons and then use blade of woe instead of the weapons. I have no idea why it works, but it works 100% of the time and has the bonus of always killing in one shot, meaning that if you've played your cards right there will also be no witnesses or bounty.

You can alert as many NPC as you want BEFORE you make your first kill and thus starting the "timer". You'll just accrue bounty. Friend and I duoed these dailies while both of us were doing the DB quest track. Makes it easy to achieve all conditions within the time limit. We each kill our target at the same time and make it out with time to spare...Unless we get a bad guard patrol route. We've completed all objectives and received the purple reward about 95% of the time.
