Questions About Crown Store Dye Stamps

The toolbar says it is only good for the costume (or armor set) I'm wearing. So, if I change the dye stamp to something else (like an achievement dye) at some point, is the dye stamp saved for that costume or is it lost and I have to buy it again? And if it is the later, and a limited time purchase, is the dye stamp lost forever?

If you overwrite a dye stamp on a costume you lose it.

It's lost. A dye stamp is a one-time use item, but you can buy several stamps and keep them to redye the costume in the future.

Thanks for the answer. That's pretty crappy of ZOS to set it up that way. That's like buying a new car and being told that you can only drive it once.
