I don't know anything about the lore, and don't rly care, I just enjoy the ESO stories,
but if they were more like dragon people instead of lizards on 2 legs, then I would make a toon. They are just too funny.

Saw the thread title and immediately assumed that someone would leave a response like this and what do yo know, it's the first one in the thread.
Personally I don't like redguards because their backstory / lore is a Mish-mash of Persian /Arabic cliches that in my view don't add up to much of anything, just a lot of superficial drivel that I suppose give the loremasters a feeling that they were being politically inclusive and have represented all world cultures equally.

kamimark✭✭✭✭BretonBoringtons are depressingly dull. Supposedly "half elven", "magical", they live in filth and build boring non-magical castles like Dark Ages English. Half of them are vampires, half are werewolves, and they're all boring.
Every other race has something to recommend them.
Argonians are comic relief (and in current stats good healers).
Dunmer are sarcastic, sexy, murderous, everything fun, and their architecture is all lovely spikes and lava.
Nords are drunken idiots, but they don't pretend to be anything better. And Rigurt and a few others make these drunken idiots fun.
Altmer are perfect… and hold each other to that impossible standard. Their island and architecture are lovely. And mechanically, hands down the best mages.
Khajiiti are comic relief, and adorable, and competent nightblades.
Bosmer are preachy little dorks about the Green Pact, but their thieving and murdering skills are top-notch.
Redguard are cowards, scared of magic and undead which are everywhere, but they're solid fighters if you can get them to stop whimpering about Ra-Netu.
Orcs are foul-smelling, hideously ugly, and moronic, but they don't have any pretense of being better. They literally worship the *** matter that used to be Trinimac before he was eaten.
Imperials are sadly fairly boring, they either politic and side with Molag Bal, or they are just kinda there, doing their job. Oblivion of course treated them better, but here they almost make worst race. But they are solid fighters.
Of course, this is why DC is the worst faction. Boringtons, Redguard, and Orcs couldn't organize a brew-up in a pissery.
