So as I have moved over onto PC and cba with XB anymore...
I have an XB account with 850CP, Few Hundred £s worth of CS goodies, all DLC paid for, about 30M Gold on it and to be honest every single BIS item in the game and a Magsorc that pre-Morrowind was sitting @98% completion and AR 43 and 7 other toons all maxed and kitted out.
I know PC players in the past have sold accounts here and there but I can't be bothered with that, I have a friend who gave up on the game and want's to suffer it again on console.
I can obviously hand over my entire XBL account and remove my personal info, like CC and change associated email address to his Outlook / Hotmail account but it's quite long winded.
Is there anyway does anyone know, to change your ESO profile to another Gamertag at all? If not I'll hand over the whole lot but would rather not go through the rigmarole of it all, it will not be sold off for money, have no interest in doing that. Just the profile will be sitting there indefinitely doing nothing.

@TARAFRAKA thanks dude. Will give it a shot. "I had to create a new gamertag as was getting trolled" should work. Changing the gamertag doesn't change anything but how it looks.PC Master Race

Not sure about " legal " side, since most of the companies don`t like things like giving accounts to somebody. But meh, if it`s not sold, then I don`t see why ZOS should be angry at you. But thats just me.

✭✭✭You're not allowed to hand anything over. It's against MS ToS. Add to that, you're never truly handing anything over because your account will always remain your account. Please don't take this as I'm insinuating you're one of them, but this is what those scammers do on ebay. Hand over their account, allow the person buying it to change email accounts etc, then because the account is never the buyers account, the scammers reclaim the account when they purchase another xbox. This is why if MS find out about it, your account will incur a perma ban and everything tied to it will become useless.0 -

Sure.. give them your ID and PW. Have them attempt to login. Get the email authorizing that IP. Authorize it. They can use the account. I think it works for up to 5 IPs.

Yes, it can be abused, but they think positively of their players that they would not abuse the system.

I wanted to give my account away too when I binned the xbox. However, unlike you and due to my age none of my real life friends really play games other than FIFA etc after coming home from the pub. Spent a lot on my xbox eso account and now it all just rots away. Funnily enough I logged onto my xbox eso account about 4 months ago and was met with lots and lots of crowns (probably due to the crowns i never ever received from the whole subbing fiasco and why i left) . I just purchased crown crates for the lol's and got 3 storm mounts.
True story, when i logged on that time I went around the main hubs trying to give my stuff away (mats and gold) and on one occasion I went up to a group and instigated a trade with one of them and was promptly told to *** off. Probably because i was only CP160 (old vet lvls). One of them accepted out of pity no doubt, and he got millions and over 100 alloys, rosins etc. The guy that was initially rude then suddenly realised the errors of his ways and because I'm a forgiving person, I gave him 1 potato.
The next person got millions more and more mats. Pity all the mounts will just sit there doing nowt.2 -

Must be an NA thing. Here in EU is quite normal to get a new IP at least(!) every day. Anything IP based does not work, like at all. You pay extra if you don't want that with most, if not all ISPs. There was a time for ESO where ZOS was so oblivious to that fact, that most of us had to reauthorise our account every single **** day ... sometimes more often (I'm probably overgeneralising as I know some did not have this problem even with changing IPs). I think it must have been a strange combination of Ip and some hardware ID before. For example we had one family PC, where two people were playing with different ESO accounta and somehow using a second account with the same hardware deauthorised the first. So you had to authorise ping pong depending on who wanted to play. (You could actually get a cooldown on this, stopping you from logging in..) This stopped when we added a second PC ^^, But again I know people who never had these kind of problems..
