    645 , they should slowly raise to 1000 cp cap, then 20% increase in all passives + 0.5 sec decrease in mag/stam/hp reg if getting from 999 - 1000 , where the last cp requires 100m xp to get


    @Karmanorway This is horrific to conceive of, especially since ZOS has demonstrated they do not want this game to become new-players-below-cap-get-reemed-instantly-when-faced-with-person-who-has-played-and-grinding-for-X-hours

    Championpoint cap needs an increase?
    The cap is increasing at an acceptable rate IMO
    Where should be the cap?
    Same as above, I don't think they game will last long enough in its current state (+DLC content) to hit 3600 CP cap
    Do we need a CP cap?
    Yes, or else this game is trodding grindfest to be any sort of relevant to anyone. There are people out there who have spent untold amounts of gold/money on XP boosts and time grinding the same pack of zombies...

    @Sheey I honestly feel like the increase could be anything less than 100 and there would be people hitting it within a week, just less people each notch you tick it up. With the tweaks they keep making, higher amounts of CP are going to only benefit 'hybrid' builds and not pures :p

    Well, you can spent 100 points into 3 effects each colour once we hit 900 as cap. It does slightly increase power of all builds out there but just less efficient.

    I believe they set the CP caps based on where the majority of the CP in the player base lies. It is currently CP 630, and based upon both this poll and my knowledge from seeing players running around in game, it seems to be right on target. I'm CP 691.

    Well, if I take my 670 some cp and multiply it by how many characters have that much CP...I have around 6 thousand CP.

    Doesn't work that way. If you had 10 people in your house all wanting to use the restroom, that doesn't mean you have 10 restrooms. You 670cp shared by all of your characters, no more.

    I have 1200 and I really never grinded CP. The only "grinding" I did when CP was 400k xp per was leveling up a couple of different classes that I wanted to PvE on. I think a lot of my CP mostly came from doing vDSA a couple times a day and PvPing.

    Thats what mmos are about, socialising AND progress. What progress are there left to fight for when u are cp capped, best sets, rich, all quests finished ... none, you simply just retire to the forums. More power have always been the motivator to keep going, and yes we are stronger than new players, but we have also invested more years of our life then they have, we have done more (according to tes lore) impossible quests, so i think thats only fair IMO, and realistic

    983 as of today. And I have only grinded occasionally, when I had to train 2W and a few other skills on my stam DK after recovering the research points, and re-train morphs on my other characters, after a few Morrowind patch related skill changes. Probably less than 20 CP worth in total. I have been playing for almost 2 years but reached the cap, which was then at CP501 in about 9 months, exactly 6 months after reaching the veteran ranks. I consider grinding specifically for CP utterly pointless.
