✭3rd person literally outperforms 1st person in this game whether u like it or not.
First person you have no peripherals but in 3rd u can see completely around u.

Mazbt✭✭✭✭When I am roaming around towns or a somewhat safe area just chlling i switch to first person. Really difficult to do any sort of combat in 1st person tho 3rd all the way for that.Mazari the Resurrected (AD)- PVP stamplar main

TheDoomsdayMonster✭✭✭✭✭IMHO, 1st person is far more immersive (and the graphics look better as well) than 3rd person and I do use it from time to time when doing overworld content...
BUT, you better not ever use 1st person view in PvP; this is a death sentence as I learned very painfully early on in my ESO career...Unyeilding Bias

Used first for about 10-15 minutes and in just the tutorial (older cold harbour one) could tell the game was gonna be a serious challenge in first. As immersive and neat as it is, it reminds me of when fpv came to gta 5. Sounds great in theory and there's those moments/views/etc only it can provide, but you're seriously just along for the ride 70-90% of the time going "I have no idea what's going on".
I'll switch to it for closer viewings and certain situations, but majority of the time I'll rock third. It also helps me gawk at my characters and it bugs me that in first person your camera is not your head. So your char can be facing away, but your camera is staring right at em. That's useful for creeping on other characters I guess.0 -

That said.. Forgotten Wastes and Nzft..sdfasdf have forced me into first person. The camera isnt working very well in third person in those tunnels.Power level to CP160 in a week:
