How does one go about getting crown gems for use in the crown store? Seen an item I like to get but I don't have any crown gems, I have plenty of standard crowns, but no gem veriant.

You get gems if you receive an item from the crate you already own or you can convert the consumable items you get in the crates to gems. Be warned though, RNG is a fickle mistress.
