Why Magicka Templars are not being complained in PVP ?

I have seen folks complaining about Nightblades and Sorcs in PVP but never a templar.

So far my Templar is level 30 and my experience with Templars have been like that (in the video) in overland content.

Extremely high burst (albeit its a casting ability) and i am curious to know why folks have not been complaining about them in PVP

    I complain about Templar and I am A Templar!

    Although, my complaints are more like "OMG! Why does my Templar suck?!"

    Playing like that is by choice, less to do with class.
    NB's.. Sorc's.. all capable and more inclined to however

    The truth is, most people don't know how to build a DPS Magicka Templar. Even after 3 years.

    95% of Magicka Templars currently fall into one of the two categories below:

    1. Heavy armor survivor with medium damage (typically vampire / mist form RUNvX'er)
    2. Healer

    The reason is simple. Templar is a great "survivor" and support class. It's easiest to play that way. Actually, when played that way, it might be the easiest class in the game.

    Its not as easy to play a high DPS magicka templar. I know, because I never run into any. I've been making DPS templar builds since day 1 of this game, and I can tell you I've literally ran into MAYBE 3-4 magicka templars with noticibly high damage in Cyrodiil. And they almost never main the class.

    When they would give to Sorcs the same skills with crazy selfheal (like Jabs and RayofGod) then you would complain on Sorc's shield.

    Use a skill from Light armor skill line

    • EU players are humans too! We want our maintenances in the least pop time (at deep night) and not lasted for several hours!
    • Animation canceR - is true PvP cancer! When you can't see which actions your opponent do - you can't react properly on them!

    With that high burst damage build you will only blame other Magicka Player, unexperienced player or just with surprising people. You just can make 1-2 kills and then it should be over.. Much people with Staminabuilds or every player who uses shuffle for example and dodge just a bit, will not killed from this instant kill builds. In Meleerange you will not have success with it too...

    It's so easy to break combat in this game.
    1 shoot kills. 1vX builds. Any class, any build. I guess there is a balance. Everyone is a loser.
    Nerfing classes is something that morons would do. The whole combat needs to be examined again. Wish it would happen but it doesn't look profitable, so no blame.
    However when games are no more fun to play, profits also go down.

    Jesus Beam has definitely been mentioned on this forum that's for sure. And the Major Mend Nerf was partly due to their strength in PvP i believe. They can out heal and out damage you previously
