Dual Wield-Strong enough for PVP?

I know for years it's been 2 hander for PVP and Dual for PVE content but I'm curious, has anyone had any success with Dual wield in PVP? I've always ran 2 hander myself but I'm getting tired of running the same thing on all of my stamina builds. With the warden's shalks bringing some burst or stamplar jabs with the addition of some rending slashes can it work? With 2 hander getting some love making it a better pve option now, is it time for dual wield to get some help in the pvp department?

DW is totally viable, you can run DW/2hander and still get the rally/vigor combo that most stam builds use to stay alive. DW gives the most weapon damage of any setup and lets you run a 5/5/2 gear setup. Rapid strikes isn't bad as a spammable even though I prefer dizzyswing, and that's only if you don't have a class-based spammable. Really, DW is perfectly strong in pvp and plenty of top tier pvpers run it.

I was always scared to give it a go since I too use dizzying swing. On my warden though shalks gives quite abit of burst. I thought about running bloodthirst (I don't like cutting dive in melee) to try and compensate for the rally heal but I was scared it would cost me too much DPS. As a warden I'm already getting my major brutality from bull netch. I appreciate your insight into this.

The second enchant also provides alot of none build based damage. You can kill people with 0 damage, viper, seleane and the 2 enchant procs from dw. Weapon damage and maximum stamina has become a useless stat because of procs. Harsh reality but i still try to have fun.

I run DW/Bow on my stamnb (430 cp) and it works great! The major advantage of having DW is getting 2 5-piece sets and a monster set. The only problem that it has is its high skill cap because you don't get that rally heal. And you can also get major brutality from weapon power pots
