If it's just a DLC for vampires and you have to be a vampire to do the content then yeah, that's going to upset a lot of people. If it's one like Dawnguard where it has two sides and you can choose (but no split achievements) then it would do fine as a DLC.

✭They wont even give us a full bar of skills to use, wont let us have charms, wont fix how long it takes us to lvl (compared to WW), ZoS has proven they dont give a flying lick about vamps. I gave up hope a long time ago that they would do anything remotely cool for vamps.

Honestly I wish they would do something like this more with the DLC's they've been releasing. It would have been easy enough to make it possible to play as Order of the Hour or Iron Wheel of Taneth. I'd also like to add that there isn't real parity between Fighters Guild and monster-people. I've got no problem with Vampires but honestly they're too good. ✭✭✭✭✭Would be pretty easy to weave a 2 sided Vampire Story into the existing map. Add a building or an entrance and you have some place to go to fill out the story. Villages and compounds can be added to the map. Exploration, discovery and combat in a mix and I would love to have it in the game. And I like the idea of split achievements, not for everything, but what makes sense. It also encourages Alts.
Of course the Werewolves would have to be part. So that would add a 3rd party to the mix. Get some nice 3 Way Action going on.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

This was fantastic. In all seriousness Bloodthirsty I agree with you. I just want to see them add the depth of the standalone games. Dawnguard vs. the Nord-breed of Vampire was beautiful. The whole story with Serana's family, with the Cult if Stendarr... it was great. I loved that choice mattered in that dlc. I'd like to see something like that in this game. There are characters I really wish could have opposed the DB and worked within knightly orders at the very least intending to be heroic. I would have liked to be the anti-thief of the Iron Wheel as much as I enjoyed being that thief. Indeed. Worse, if it was "vampire only" it never would get made because the powers that be have to fear too few people might find it interesting enough to pay for it...It depends how it's handled.

Although, it would have been really nifty if they done the TG and DB DLCs in an "two sides" setup way back when as well... I'd have loved to see the story of the TG unfold from the PoV of the iron wheel for my "honest" characters, or the gold coast events from the order of the hour...

Vanthras79✭✭✭✭✭Only if there is a skill line added for a group that opposes the vampires. I know the fighter's guild has the dawnguard's cross-bow, but they are all stamina based. Surely some mages oppose vampirism, right?
Also wouldn't some vampires bee really quick, perhaps some more stamina abilities for vampirism? ✭I think it would be cool to have a Van Helsing style expansion, kind of like how the original justice system was supposed to work, full PVP vampires vs Non-vampires free for all pvp zone. A bunch of daily quests that involve killing vampires or humans depending on what side you are on, and lots of borrowed lore from every tired take on monster stories since Stoker.“Whatever.”

It would be an imbalance due to the obvious weakness of vampires. Do not think that would be fun PvP.
