Request: Gear Style Transmutation

Not sure if this has come up before, or if this is the right place for it but I would like to request the ability to transmute the style/motif of a piece of gear to another.
1) Have the gear only transmutable from the same level (i.e. CP160 to CP160)
2) It would make motifs great again.
3) It would save having to enchant and upgrade a piece of gear just to have the look/style you want.
I don't think it would negatively impact costumes or selling of them in the crown store as unique styles are reserved for costumes anyway.
