Racial skill level bugged? Not same as

your actual level. My new character created since Morrowind seems to have his racial skills lagging behind his actual level. His racial skill is 10 while he is level 13. Perhaps this is because of the revealing of the skills at level 5 now? Is this intended or a misaligned xp curve due to the hidden racial passives?

    It's intended. It will eventually catch up.

    Lol! Really? They did say that you gain early levels more quickly now and later levels a bit slower, but it seems the Race Skill still levels up as before so at some point, if what you are saying is true, the race skill overtakes the actual level :P

    It occured on Khajiit. Maybe using full Medium Armor (more xp) helped to increase race leveling.

    Yea, the Racial Passive Leveling is off from the Character leveling. But it not much and near L50 or just after, it all seems to sort out.

    It is probably related to how they changed the character leveling to be faster at early levels (1 to 20) and slower at higher levels (30 to 50). They never adjusted the Racial Passive leveling.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    If this character was partially leveled before they made the change to the leveling rates, it would explain why they are seeing this. It's usually a lag on new characters.

    That makes sense with that previously levelled character yeah. Will have to check my low level alts and see their progression.

    Yes, the racial skill follow the old leveling method, its an minor thing.
    And you get it on wardens too.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    I don't think it is a bug, it is more of an oversight, They forgot to retweak the racial "levels" when they changed xp required to level up.
