And while we talking about bringing some life to the houses... it would also help if we had more permissions, such as co-owner for our wife/husband... (it has been brought up before.. IK..)

And as far as stealing goes, have each item have the ability to be moved by other co owners, but can only be put away by the owner of the furniture. Like a account bound item so things cant be stolen since I know that was one of the biggest concerns.. Which I dont think even should be, if your dumb enough to make someone a co-owner that would steal your stuff, then you deserve it, and just gained a invaluable life lesson...

    "Give me Argonian slaves!"
"Bring on the Lusty Argonian Maids!"
"Argonian target skeletons in the Crown Store? How'd they know?!"

The spines of progress rise or fall at the root. You are that root. Aren't you bored with flopping around the same old flaccid and regressive rhetoric? Haven't you yet discovered that all of your bravado doesn't hide the fact that everybody knows the Pact Banner isn't the only thing that you're flying at half-mast? Still happy collecting limp high-fives from sympathetic miscarriages who wouldn't know how to handle a plow if Kyne herself spread her fertile soil before them?

Discover what it is to be upstanding. Vigorous. Hard. Erect the spines of progress!

But I love experimenting on my undead Argonian slave (had a slight miscalculation with a fire spell; killed the poor sod). Now he serves me with undying loyalty.

It is not my fault that Argonians are so resilient to the harsh conditions of Vvardenfell, making them perfect slaves. Too many bretons have choked on the ash and died. Too many. Do you even know how much a high-quality Breton goes for on the Telvanni market?
    With cold regards,

Loving the housing so far, great job! I got the big Daggerfall Overlook which is awesome but it lacks people!
That's why the small cozy huts are far more desirable and comfortable than large empty homestead. Where you can play /lute only for yourself, among vast and cold walls.

Just reviving this one. Has ZOS commented on whether NPCs are coming to housing. People have now been asking about butlers, guards, bards, etc in different locations on the forums. I hope they can squeeze this in before Morrowind

Yes, like in Skyrim, I would enjoy having bards ("Red Diamond, Red Diamond...) and other NPCs to make the house more "lively."

I enjoy the housing! Only, the attuned woodworking station is left!

I'd like the option of a lute player....playing Red Diamond of course.

Then, said lute player could be stuck in a hunting cage and forfotten.

Well I live in Twin Arches so the 3 merchants and a chilling beta monkey is more than enough population, but I support the idea. :-)

I'd also like to see my pets, I'd like the option to 'enable" other characters on my account, my mounts.....
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

NPC's in homes would be nice. Tel Galen needs a guard or two plus one argonian slave to keep things orderly

I'd like to be able to place one or two of my otherwise inactive extra characters.

I think it would be cool if they let us log our other toons off as merchant npcs in our houses with a merchant inventory we can set up for them. Cap the amount of items you can sell on them obviously, to not make the current merchant system pointless or what type of items etc.

We definitely need to be able to get npcs for our houses and npc versions of our alts to place in them. Something else I realized we really need when placing my fence npc is that they need the ability to be placed on furniture. If you hover an npc over a chair, it should assume a sitting position so it can be placed on the chair.
