Prosperous is Preposterous - Let's Change That

I propose ZoS change Prosperous into Nurturing: Increases the duration and magnitude of consumed food or drink by X%.

Magnitude in this case refers to numerical value of the bonus being given by the buff. This new trait would increase the duration of the food/drink's buff by X% and it would increase the amount of stats (hp, mag, recov, etc.) by X%.

*The following example is using random numbers just for illustrative purposes. ZoS would need to determine the best % value for Nuturing to maintain balance.
For example, if you had a Fishy Stick that gave you 1000 HP for 60 minutes and had 1 piece of armor with "Nurturing" on it that gave a 8% bonus to consumables, that Fishy Stick would instead give you 1080 HP for 64 minutes.

For CP160 food that has bigger numbers, this could be a significant increase that could warrant competition for BiS with Divines since stats are being boosted by "Nuturing". In fact, this could even provide PvP players with an alternative to "all Impen" to gain more sustain or a larger stat pool, Right now, all non-tank PvE players use Divines because it's the only trait that can give significant offensive bonuses. However, with Nurturing, bi-stat blue foods, Witchmother's, and Camoran all can gain significant bonuses with this trait, by forgoing some Divines slots. Tanks could also utilize this bonus to get more value out of their drinks or foods with recovery bonuses.

It's important to remember that a mixture of Divines and Nurturing is the intended goal of such a change. My proposal is done with the expectation that Nurturing can be used WITH Divines, not to just outright replace it, as that would just "move the problem" to another trait!

    Neat.

That would be more useful to me than preposterous.

This is something I had thought about, too. Scrolls aren't food or drink, so they aren't a concern. As for the Psjic Ambrosia potions, ZoS would need to determine if they should be excluded or not from the bonus.

Honestly, the only "players" that benefit from Prosperous are the BOTS, lol.

Neat idea, at the very least I think training and preposterous could be rolled into one. But I like this idea

I'd keep prosperous if they changed it. Instead of just enemies, make it from all sources, and it stacked with each piece equipped. also, double the percentages or tie it in to Treasure hunter somehow. Alternatively, make Prosperous its own Set perhaps. with really good benefits and make something else a replacement trait.

Gold gain as a perk is worthless to most players. It really only benefits farmers and killing mobs for gold isn't even worthwhile anyway. If you want a viable gold source, you use Guild Trading - not mob kills.

Only Botters would hate my proposed change, lol. "Muh Betnikh farm..."

Fun idea, I support this. Then maybe they could just merge Prosperous with Training to give a dual bonus to gold/XP.

So I am going to toss this out there to all the haters....There are certain public dungeons with large mob pulls that yield almost 200 gold per gold in raw gold drops. Wearing full prosperous gear you get like 320 gold per pull instead.

I know how yall feel about farming gold, but when you're trying to get spinners weapons at least you get compensated somewhat for all the time spent in there....

Prosperous would only be worth it to me if it gave more money dropped and something like impen does to armor except prosperous would be, reduced cost of repairing said armor. This idea might also sound OP but maybe giving a slight chance increase for dropped items too. Just my 2 cents

Sure, why not? Anything would be better, even simply deleting Prosperous completely from the loot table so you have more chance to get other traits.

Better idea. Remove training and prosperous entirely to give better odds art decent traits.
