Mag Blades with DW

I have seen Mag Blades having DW/Staff.
Can someone explain as to why a Mag Blade wear a DW ?
DW is purely Stam wep right ?

    Dw give more spell dmg than a stave and MNb can be built to be melee.
    Moons and sands shall be your guide and path.

    The Twin Blade and Blunt passive of DW increases damage dealt for each sword you wield. That includes Spell Damage.

    Plus the extra sword provides an additional set bonus compared to a Destro Staff

    I still don't really understand how that works. Like the OP asked, doesn't DW use stam? Do you not slot any of the DW abilities, or do you still use them but just can't use as much of them?

    No, they don't use any of the skills. They just put 2 points in the last passive for a damage increase

    Not worth it, you lose massive weaving damage from your staff light attacks.

    There are some very fun mageblade burst builds that use DW. There are some particularly strong ones for no cp where you don't lose damage running Selene and incap on a mag buil.

    I use DW for PVP with my magblade on back bar because of the last passive which increases Spell damage for each sword I equip. Then, two swords offer me a third set.

    DW & staff user on magblade...allows me to equip a monster set...plus, the two daggers look cool :)
