Disabling combat music!

I know, it has been there since forever i guess. But i feel like if we keep putting this on light, we might actually one day get the precious button.
What am I talking about?
I basically despise the combat music, its not the worst thing in the world, but its not good enough to not become a pain in the ass after a week of playing ESO (i have actually been playing for 2 years almost)
All i ask for is just one line in setting - Combat music - ON/OFF
ESO soundtrack is great, but when the soundtrack suddenly stops and you hear bum bum bum bum bum then soundtrack again, and bum bum bum bum bum, it gives me an headache. I even started avoiding combat as much as i can while playing becouse of that.
Why dont you play ESO soundtrack from YouTube you moron? Well becouse it doesnt fit, the zone i am in, there are i think some ambient sounds aswell so it just doesnt do it for me.
There was also an addon that could turn down the volume of certain parts of soundtrack including the combat music. But even the drums were better then sudden silence when i engaged in combat.

All I ask is ONE BUTTON, ONE BUTTON, please.

That one button probably comes with a mess of coding.

That's not to say it's not a good feature idea or that I don't think they should do it, just I would imagine it's not a super fast fix and all the nice QoL features like this mean less devs working on the bigger issues or new content.

Well the guy who coded the addon was able to mute specifically combat music, he just wasnt able to separate it completely and delete it. When he can come so close, why people who coded this game can´t do just that one extra step? Making it better then just drum drum drum strange sound, drum drum drum... would certainly help, or adjust how it comes into place, not just instant change out of the blue. I dont have problem with combat music in general, Witcher 3 for example has great combat music that comes into play so i cant even recognise when it starts.

Turned off the music over a year ago because of that "wooooooosh" sound every time combat music ended.

I would very much like this feature and just listen to the normal soundtrack.

    This is my sollution:

While I understand the complexity of such a thing considered how the music is integrated in ESO (see Brad Derrick article on the offical website), I'd very much have this feature implemented in game aswell.

When I do ASMR livestream, I cut off the music completely and only leave the ambiance sound, at maximum. That may be a temporary solution for you @Raezputin

Sometimes, that music saves my life. Although, I have to admit that sometimes it starts playing in weird places, like the other day when I was out fishing and NOTHING was near me. Then the combat music started, and I started looking around, and there was nothing there. Nothing. I kept waiting for Molag Bol to attack me after I sent out my next lure, but it never happened. I did see a mudcrab that was looking at me all suspcious like, so maybe he was planning combat. But I don't really think that was it.
    Clueless, but willing to learn.

You're definitely not alone in this thought. With the way Mobs are EVERYWHERE in this game, those Drums come in and out, always starting over each time every other second. It gets so annoying so easily I'm forced to just mute the Music but then I miss out on the rest of the great soundtrack.
