ok so I just posted because I had a problem updating. that's fixed. but I logged out last night because I was in a BG and died into a never ending load screen

so I try to logging after messing with the update for an hour just now and as soon as I type in password I get never ending load screen. like the wrothgar bug in orsinium on xbox. (I'm on pc now)

I try about 10 times and same thing so finally I leave it loading for 20 min and it kicks me to main screen.

try to login again and my password is incorrect.

mind you I just changed my password because it said my password was wrong when I was trying to figure out why I could not update. but that was on the website not the game (I imagine they are separate.) but I try my new website password for my account just in case and it says that one is wrong as well.

so wtf lol. did I get a ban because I was *** with my account trying to login so many times? I cant check because I cant login to website OR game now.

lol my edit button is not showing up but password from forums is also different from game and your account on here so that's how I'm posting is anyone asks about that

EDIT: my edit button works for this one.....

If you force close the game, it keeps you in a "logged in" state for a few minutes. Give it another go now. It should be alright.

I was able to change the password but now never ending load screen again. and its not the keeping me logged in status as this was as of last night and as of about an hour now

EDIT: it said to try to uninstall addons so I took them out of my files but no luck

Have you tried to repair the game installation from the launcher? That has been known to fix problems.

the infinite wrothgar load screens disappeared when you left xbox, and now they are an issue on PC.... no idea what to suggest - but please dont come bk to xbox!

I've encountered the 'never ending load screen' on PC-NA as well, although not very often. Have to do a force-close and then log back in, never had a problem getting back in after force-closing though.

Yeah I was able to repair but still same deal today login to infinite load screen.. I put in a ticket so maybe that can do the same thing that fixed it during the wrothgar deal.

Just curious, character load screen or character selection load screen (the first one)?

@HalloweenWeed this is the first one the character selection load screen, before i get to character selection that is..

BUT i did get it fixed right before i left for work.. and maybe I'm just a total computer scrub since I'm new to it. but i had a previous post about how i was trying to repair and couldn't update the game and then i was able to fix it and update the game. but then i got hit with the password problems and then the infinite load screen again. and i didn't think about it because i had tried repairing like 10 times already so i figured it would make no difference to do it for an 11th. BUT i had not done it since after i had gotten the update fixed and able to get back in the game(well not in game but you know) AND we had this exact problem on Xbox before i moved to PC so i was kinda fixated on the fact that i was experiencing the same problem i had on Xbox and we can't repair there only uninstall and reinstall which does not fix the problem we experienced on Xbox.

but the repair after the fact did fix my issue.. i guess I'm just going to have to forget all the fixes or lack of fixes I'm used to having..
