For a Dunmer MagDK damage dealer who is making moves solo, which of the 3 is the best set?
By the way, the MagDK in question is in 5pcs. heavy armor (Seducer) for the most part, and is looking for a monster set to compliment a play style entirely based on solo dealings in open world PvP.
Out of those 3 I won't even hesitate to say Bloodspawn. Engine Guardian? Bad 1 piece and too much rage-inducing RNG for my tastes. Lord Warden? I've never used it but if the proc is stationary then it's bad, especially considering you can get resistance buffs from Bloodspawn with ult regen (which helps sustain on a DK).
EDIT: I did miss the open world PVP. Pirate Skelly as long as the recent nerf was not to bad. Probably silly but would reduce damage taken.
Been using pirate skeleton for several months on Mag DK and I find it provides a bit more survivability than Bloodspawn, which is also good.
The recent change with Morrowind patch just means it only procs based on damage taken when you don't have shields up. This happens frequently even if you are using shields, as igneous shield and annulment are tiny compared to sorc shields.
As for the others, I never liked using Lord Warden much, but Engine Guardian is always great if you are having trouble with sustain. Due to RNG, however, sometimes it gives you exactly what you need and 2/3 of the time it gives you exactly what you don't need.
