My support ticket is apparently being passed on to an expert team to look into so I will update if I hear anything relevant.

Please do. What was your specific problem again? And how exactly did ZOS respond? Are they treating it as a bug?

Well like an idiot I bought over 30 houses some crown, some golf - so I have been hit by the window removal in Mathiesen Manor and the beach clearance in Hundings. Posiibly by others as yet undiscovered...

I ticketed to ask for a fix, got bounced around by people saying they had no idea and then trying to close the ticket. I than said that was not good enough and I expected to either be told when it would be fixed or to have my crowns refunded and hey have supposedly escalated it to a specialist team. I'll give them 24 hours and then chase again, rinse and repeat as necessary.

My preference is they simply fix the issue but as they seem to be unwilling to address that I will reluctantly demand refunds for any crown purchased house they mess with... this really would be such an easy win for them to just acknowledge and fix vs annoying the very people who inject money into their game.

this should be responded by ZOS.

    @ZOS_RichLambert @ZOS_MattFiror @ZOS_BrianWheeler

Agreed, but as others have said they have no reason to ever respond to this on the forums. No reason that's in their interests, at least.

well I bet, many people can get pissed off by them not responding, so if they do not want to loose them...
They probably dont think they'll lose enough people for it to matter, or that anyone will actually leave at all. Either way, it makes more sense for companies to keep quiet if they don't know what's going on or if the explanation would make them look bad.
No one is saying there aren't multiple interpretations of the lore, and we're not arguing that ESO did it "wrong".

We're arguing that they decided to go for the most boring, mundane, seen-before interpretation possible. Like they almost always do, unless they can ride on the coat-tails of past games.

They accidentally set the number of pieces of furniture one can place in their offices too low, and so the Housing team had to decide between chairs or computers. They chose chairs and now the community ambassadors have no way to reach the team for comment - because there's a also a bug that causes an infinite loading screen when trying to enter the office door.

Those CAD folks are in there starving.

Thanks so much for the extra info, everyone. We're looking into this to see what happened and how we can fix it in the future.

This was the last reply i can see on housing and only addressed the Craglorn Cave.

Over 2 weeks ago and Z0$ continues to break more houses. Personally i cannot see how anyone has any faith left in this company to produce 'stable' products. Additionally if they cant get a grip with exploiting in ESO, aesthetic houses are well past them.

Can you or anyone else confirm that changes were made after the date of the comment you quoted? This isn't a challenge to prove it, I just want confirmation so I make more informed decisions about this going forward.

Wait, so this has been continuously happening over the course of two weeks? Trying to get all the info for the article.

Edit: As the person above me said, has this been happening continuously for two weeks? As in, something happened two weeks ago and then more changes have happened since?

Maybe someone needs to make a thread about being unable to buy crowns, but then link the housing issue threads. The broken crown store threads get immediate responses (look in dev tracker from last week).

    Until:

1). They fix it (most likely option).
2). You give up and go back to playing, at which point they pretend this never happened.

We received one reply to this issue and zero follow-ups. I would like to think they actually cared about the player base however the continuing silence speaks volumes.

By not responding officially there is also the possibility that not enough people who post here will notice the changes to their houses and raise the problem and that this will quietly go away - maybe they'll refund a few of us our crowns, maybe they won't but I imagine there is some critical mass of noise at which point they feel they have to intervene. Keeping these threads active with updated information to help other players out and keep them on page 1 is about all we can do...

FYI - just got this from support:
    Hello!

Thank you for reaching out to support regarding your issue with the houses. After reviewing the information you've provided, we have bugs in our system both for Mathiisen Manor (windows specifically) and Hunding's Palatial Hall (the beach clutter and ship). These are issues that our support team are working on resolving in a future update to the game. Even the mentioned Earthtear Cavern (that I found through your links) is also being reviewed by our development team.

Not a solution and no excuse for lack of forum comms but does suggest it is on someone's radar, I asked for an estimate on fix time and will update if they can give me anything useful.

I'd rather would ask: "Why does ZOS not reply to 99% treads "

Much I dislike having to say this but kelp & pebbles already in the crown store. Have been since start. Not sure about starfish but found one when fishing so now have a solitary one basking on my beach.

Would also like to let Zos know that I am available for employment as either their Head of Marketing or PR. I'm not that expensive, and although I may be slightly lacking in actual experience, I can safely say with utter certainty that I would do a far better job than whomever they have in post at the moment.

But then my 16 year old would. Or even my dog.

So, one of the houses is missing kelp and stuff, right? Now they're on the crown store? How long have they been there?

That's the stuff from the beach at Hunding's that has vanished. But it has always been for sale in the crown store from the start so no real dastardly plot to make people buy things (I hope).

Imo they have done something somewhere else that has had this (probably) unintentional effect. They did put in a window in Hunding's that had been missing from the start but should obviously have been there.

I don't buy into any conspiracy stuff - but do think they need a drastic overhaul of their PR & Marketing plans as at the moment they are rubbish (that's being polite). Hence my selfless offer..... :)

I was told by the ESO support staff that I had to create an account here to submit bugs from now on.

Now I've created an account they have 100% ignored the submitted bugs, no response now. I used to get an email stating that the bug has being sent over to the devs etc, but now its a shambles.

    Thanks ZM.
