a couple quick questions about shields and damage mitigation

1. I've heard the extra fire damage vampires takes also applies to shields if you are a vampire. is this true?

2. Does Minor/Major protection work to reduce damge vs your sheilds?

3.Do the damage reduction champion points like Hardy still reduce damage vs shields?

Not sure about 1 or 3, but the answer to 2 is yes.

EDIT acording to the link above, Hardy is reducing the damage vs shields.
