Gamepad mode question

Is there an option to turn off the UI change while having an active controller? The layout is very annoying and hard to play with all these menus going gigantic and blocky. Also, how do I invert the up/down function on the right joystick?

✭✭✭✭1. There is no way to use the controller and not have the menu. What I do to get around this is to bind a keyboard key to switch back and forth when I need to use a menu and when I want to play.
2. The invert for the controller is in the controller menu, by that I mean the menu you use while in gamepad mode, this is the only way to change it0
