Critical strike after Shadowy Disguise

As per the tooltip the next attack after shadowy disguise will be a critical strike.
So can I weave my attacks with "Shadowy Disguise" and always have critical strikes ?
For example
Shadowy Disguise -> Wrecking Blow -> Shadowy Disguise -> Wrecking Blow ....etc
Does this work ?

Yes... but don't its such a waste.
