I feel like they have such a big mess in their company, that they have no control over many things in game. Some people did something with housing, but rest of people didn't know about it :D

Or: Whatever group of people that manage art assets in the game rarely check the forums, so if anything the forum mods will just compile something and link it via email to them. They're probably busy working on other art assets for the game, so in reality this kinda stuff will only be fixed if an employee has spare time, or if it becomes a large enough issue to have someone divest their time to it.

Compile a megathread of all the issues, made up neatly so when these guys access the thread, they can see what needs to be looked at.

That means in game screenshots of the issue, and in game screenshots of the map location.

Or, you know, create 15 differing threads about it so it spreads out the argument to be aimless gibberish about Zo$ *** over the player-base intentionally, and there is no way in hell it was a mistake. Cause that solves things.

    It's pretty sad.

ZOS charges more than $100 for a home that was assembled using existing art assets and can't be bothered to fix it in a timely manner.

The bottom line is that ...[edited to avoid being banned].

I think it may be possible that this is a questionable display of ethics and perhaps not how valued customers are treated.

Yes, they replied, but they never really answered, and they never fixed it. Instead, they changed two other houses. Next patch, some other house might be missing a room, or a door. I have often wondered whether they have a stable and reliable build process. Sometimes, it seems like they are just as surprised at what they break as we are.

No one is saying there aren't multiple interpretations of the lore, and we're not arguing that ESO did it "wrong".

We're arguing that they decided to go for the most boring, mundane, seen-before interpretation possible. Like they almost always do, unless they can ride on the coat-tails of past games.

Wish I could undo my vote. I don't want to jump to conclusions and we don't know what's going on yet. Just ignore my vote, I guess.

That being said, I tried reaching out to Zenimax on this last night. Some may complain about all the threads about this, but if there's no way to get a response from ZOS, and there are several issues with several houses, what else can we expect?

There's two things (of many) that get to me when it comes to video games: when developers seem to "alter the deal" after purchase, and when it affects things like atmosphere, customization, or other "fluff" stuff that people say "don't matter". This sort of thing matters to a lot of people and it's affecting their game. We need an answer.

Well like an idiot I bought over 30 houses some crown, some golf - so I have been hit by the window removal in Mathiesen Manor and the beach clearance in Hundings. Posiibly by others as yet undiscovered...

I ticketed to ask for a fix, got bounced around by people saying they had no idea and then trying to close the ticket. I than said that was not good enough and I expected to either be told when it would be fixed or to have my crowns refunded and hey have supposedly escalated it to a specialist team. I'll give them 24 hours and then chase again, rinse and repeat as necessary.

My preference is they simply fix the issue but as they seem to be unwilling to address that I will reluctantly demand refunds for any crown purchased house they mess with... this really would be such an easy win for them to just acknowledge and fix vs annoying the very people who inject money into their game.
