After that, you can use wayshrines to get to places you've already been to. Open up your map and you'll see wayshrines you know marked on it. You don't necessarily need to do a quest the moment you pick it up. The Mages and Fighters guild, for example, have one major quest per zone, and then they point you toward the next zone to pick up the next one. There is no need to cross an entire zone jsut to do such quests... those are better done when you naturally discover that location through normal gameplay.
