Heavy attack Lightening staff magicka sorcerer PVP build

So I recently had the tendency to try out the Heavy Attack magsorc build
I intent to use it in PVP, mainly battlegrounds

Right now I have the following sets farmed:
Necropetence (max magicka)
Netch's touch (400 spell damage to shock abilities)
Knight Slayer (deals 8% oblivion damage after heavy attack based on max health)

What I can't decide is how should I mix the armor sets
The Knight Slayer is a must as the 5th bonus is hard to miss for a heavy attack build
But what about the second set that I should run?

Besides it being a heavy attack build, I want to twist it into an aoe PVP build, having Lightening flood + Elemental Blockade skills
Given that, Netch's touch seems attractive as it would boost the damage of the two aoe skills that I intent to use
Does Netch's touch also increase the damage of heavy attacks with lightening staff by the way?

Necropetence on the other hand means you will have max magicka boost + pet (volatile) which does a significant aoe damage + stuns, which makes it also difficult to miss

There are also Monster sets that I really like e.g. Valkyn Skoria / Infernal Guardian

So my question is what do you people think is the best combinations of armor sets to use if I wanna create a heavy attack lightening build
Knight Slayer seems to be a mandatory choice, so I will surely use it, but what about the other part of the combination

Imo 4 necro, 5 elegant, 2 infernal guardian would be better. Knight is only relevant on high health builds.

Well, obviously using Necro will mean you have to run a pet. The Familiar is probably the best Sorc PvP aoe since it is mobile and stuns all enemies in its radius on the 5th pulse. You're going to have limited luck with Blockade and Lightning Flood. Players are usually smart enough to move out of ground dots, and are usually running around anyway. Shooting Star and Eye of Storms are good aoe utls.

Netch should boost your Lightning staff damage. Necro will not do much since staff attacks scale badly with max magicka. You need raw spell damage for bigger staff attacks.

If you're going with Knight Slayer, you may want to put a "Decrease Health" enchant on it for extra Oblivion damage, maybe with a spell damage glyph on your back bar staff.

If you are going to play this way, you need to stay in the back of your group. You will not have the burst to kill people who are targeting you and will likely run out of magicka if you have to defend yourself for more than a few seconds.

You don't need a pet if you run 4 pieces of Necro. It's a hefty boost to your max mag even without the 5th piece.

So light and heavy lightening staff attack will scale off spell damage?

The Molten Arnaments skill from Earthen Heart: it gives the Major Sorcery buff and increases Heavy Attack Damage with 40%
