    I seem to remember hearing that they were looking into it.

    It's not a big deal but if they can I'd like them to add the option because it does bother me sometimes that my characters are in a really weird order.

    Yeah, my characters are in a weird order too.

    Semi-unrelated, it would be really cool if your login background changed to reflect your current zone. So, you'd get the current Pact image if you were on Bleakrock, or you'd get the current Dominion background on Auridon, but if you were someplace like Coldharbour, or Stormhaven, you'd get unique visuals for that instead.

    So? Your comment proved nothing. It still doesn't make it any greater issue just because the game slaps it into your face as the first thing. There are still worse things to take care of first. Some people have a serious problem with the so called "OCD" that only 1% of them have clinically diagnosed.

    Edit: Don't get me wrong. I can see how this could be a thing, i just don't think it's anywhere near current priority.

    Who said anything about this being a priority? It's a QOL element. Those are never necessary.

    I'm not a programmer, but hopefully it wouldn't be something that would take a lot of time to implement. A way to rearrange a bunch of links in a list? I'd assume it's a one man job on the programming side, and then some work from a designer for the UI elements?

    + I'd also like to be able to change background image of my characters. I'm tired of looking at my dunmer standing in front of snowy mountains, only because she's EP. I want to have more dunmerish landscape instead. :(

    Some people started with noob chars and they simply neither don't want to delete them nor to have them 1st in the order. As simple as that. This is basic QoL function.

    This is never a valid response. Different people can handle different things, if they were to decide to make this a priority fix you dont know what the things that would be delayed to fix this are, or how big a delay it would be, it could be trivial.

    It's a more of a QOL thing. Why do you think that ZOS ignores the issues so the players can have some of the fluffy QOL stuff? There are many different teams within ZOS working on many different aspects of the game. Just because there is a team that would work on making so that we can re-organise the character list doesn't mean that there aren't people working on bug fixes.

    Um....what?

    Your characters are bound to the server, so if you go on the other megaserver you won't see the same characters.

    Yeah, that probably isn't possible.

    I mean, you could set up the account server to access both servers simultaneously, but that would increase load for no real benefit.

    a wide amount of players would like this i would assume, i personally have very little issues with the game i just upgraded my pc and it seemed like it fixed all problems. maybe change from amd to intel as i did?

    It's not as if they are an equivalent amount of effort. One is an interface tweak. Other problems likely involve things like low-key gutting the entire duty finder. It's like... Example: You have two dogs, one piddles on the floor sometimes, the other just spontaneously bursts into flames occasionally. That's a serious issue, you're gonna need to call a vet, or an exorcist, either way it's a big ordeal involving several people. Cleaning up after the first dog just does not require the same amount of effort, you can knock that out by yourself in a few minutes.

    The idea someone can't fix the interface because another team of people are having issues with a complex code is silly, you can have both. (or in our case, probably neither)

    I'm not saying that this shouldn't be added to the developer's backlog, i'm just saying that if it is, it should be the very last thing on there. Even changing tool-tips is more important (to me) than this...

    How hard would it be to have addons for the character login screen?

    I would like to see a lot of changes to this screen; it's basically the same screen since launch. I would like to be able to keep notes, have access to research and mount timers for each character. I bet the RP crowd wouldn't mind an option for bio/history and emote animation access too.

    If add-ons could be made for the character select screen I believe you would see some interesting and new ideas for this UI.

    ^This is an amazing idea, would add some variety. Also, is it me or does the UI take up way more space than it did before the Morrowind update? I'll have to try and find an old screenshot to compare.
